Simple setup of 2CH GSM relay module bought on Aliexpress, eBay or Amazon.

Going trough how to setup this GSM module i bought on Aliexpress.

*123456*#1NUMBER# - Authorize number
ON1 - Energize relay1
OFF1 - De energize relay1
ON2 - Energize relay2
OFF2 - De energize relay2
STA - Status on both relays.

I inserted the card into an old phone I had laying around. Then went in to settings and removed pin from there. Good luck with your project 😊

Is it 2g gsm or is it working on 3g or lte as well? Bought others from aliexpress. 2g only. But maybee it works only in africa….

It’s only gsm I’m afraid. You therefore need to have cell phone reception.

can you make it send power and off at same time, for a button click?

Unfortunately you can not by command. But i use it as puls in my project by sending ON1 and OFF1 within 2-3 seconds. Works every time, but my project does not require to be very fast puls.

It’s your personal phone number that is connected to the phone you would like to control the card with. This way it’s only phonemumber you have put in the card that can send commands to the card and not everyone👍🏻 hope this was clear.

No. You need to promt the card to get it to give status unfotunately.

First I would make sure that gsm card have no pin code.

You can run it on voltage between 9-36VDC. The communication goes through old gsm network 2G.

Yes, should not be a problem. What auxiliary voltage is the scooter? The card works from 9-36v. What is the purpose for integrating the card to scooter? I’m just curious😊

@@RideWithAnthony2G is the old GSM network. It’s communicating trough SMS/text. It’s perfect for remote start👍🏻

@@RideWithAnthony you need to make sure that your cell phone is sending text and not iMessage(if Apple) green bubble, not blue. And first you need to remove pin code on SIM card you use in relay.

If the authorization is done successfully it should work. Remember to use only CAPITAL letters. ON1, ON2 and so on

You need to remove the PIN code your SIM card arrived with.

@@cyrianbassey9382 ok. The SIM card does not have PIN code then. What country are you in, and is the gsm/2G network still active in your country.
