Incredible! One of these days I'm going to buy your course, it just looks way too valuable to ignore. Thank you for being such a great teacher.

Thank you for this great tutorial, I really find the way you explain things in all your videos are easy to follow. The way you speak the way you show what you’re doing, I’ve learn so much from you! Definitely the best KZbin channel for DaVinci tutorial.

I would like to see more comps with 3d animation in them. Like maybe a robot in a city or something like that. I would just really like to see what could be done in fusion and how good you could get something to look.

This is great. This makes so much more sense to me then the other reference about PB&J in fusion. Can you do a video on adjusting just skin tones while bringing up vibrance over all? Trying to make the video pop with out turning people super red. Thanks and great vid!

Well, this is impressive! Not so much that the sky got replaced in DVR, more that you knew how to find all the resulting issues and fix them to make it look good. No question about it- you are a smooth Fusion expert-operator and it is a pleasure watching you in action. Thanks for sharing this and thanks for my email invitation to connect into the Fusion 10-Pt Survival Guide. I'm logged in for that now. Also good to know you're hosting the ResolveCon again this year❗Say, did you "resolve" those Internet Overload issues from last year's telecast? (Yes, pun). Looking forward to seeing you and the cast of experts again.

Fantastic. And good timing. I wonder what is a good way is to remove or replace objects in footage using fusion, in the free version. Found a few videos using the colour tab, but the mentioned feature requires studio.
@HikingWithCooper Жыл бұрын
Patch replace works well for that. Not sure if it’s studio or free. Or you can always bring in another image and just plop it on top and track as needed. Or you can export a frame to Photoshop and bring it back in after editing it there.

@@HikingWithCooper thx. Often I don’t have a clean plate, so it needs some trickery. 😊

Can i add a defocus effect after things are done ? And how to do sooooo

So I do woodworking and epoxy projects. How can I spice up my footage?
@abi219 Жыл бұрын
Sky replacement can be easily done on the color page. No need for fusion actually .
@raymobula Жыл бұрын
I’d rather use fusion. Feels more logical compared to the colour tab. Well, still learning, maybe there is a reason why some effects are under the colour and not the fusion tab. ✌️

I found this method way more effective than on the Colour Page... Lord only knows why, but the overall effect much cleaner... but I had to use a different Keyer as the one used in this tutorial couldn't deal with a white sky ... Lord knows why on that one too!!! 😂

When I bring the dropper to the sky, it doesn't key it out. It either does nothing, or when I do it on a bluer part of the sky, it puts a checkerboard over a bunch of the image

Really useful vid! I would love to see a video specifically on keyers. And how to use all their options. Making backgrounds transparent on black and white images. Or a black image with a white background where you want the image white and the background transparent. There's lots of scenarios like that for me, especially when using Davinci to create thumbnails with various images or video stills. At the moment it's more trial and error like..."Let's try a delta keyer, oh that didn't work, let's try chroma keyer, that didnt work. Maybe it was a delta keyer I needed, I just need to fiddle with the 100 different options."

Can’t link an example of some kind? Of the image you’re trying to work with?

I bet V19 will make it just like an automatic replacement like Luminar does with foto 😃
@HikingWithCooper Жыл бұрын
I surely hope so. Resolve is all over the place with masking and thresholds vs clean white/black. I would love to just have one method that simply works instead of trying the chroma keyer, no wait the ultra keyer, um no how about the….

this is a beautiful tutorial, but to me it is entirely deranged that resolve doesn't have a component to do all that automatically by now... 🙄 yes yes with AI calculated locally not on stupid adobe paid cloud services come on let's go...
