Thanks Charlie. Your sky technique is brilliant. Once one does a couple it's easy peasy believable and natural looking. That " mistake", is a "teachable moment ". It's good to see that so we less experienced don't panic. That rigger holds a really good amount of water and paint. Great demo/ tutorial. Thanks again.

Hi, Charles. Your video notification just popped into my inbox - not sure why as I haven’t done watercolours for decades, but I’m glad it did as your easy ways inspire me to give them another go. To my surprise, enough of my tubes are still usable and I even discovered this very book on my shelf, so no excuses! Very nice! Watched this one during lunch, the statement that caught my attention “in a winter scene, don’t use too much white..” well that struck me as funny but in seeing the end of the presentation, yes, there’s quite a bit of color there. Thank you for sharing this.

Thank you for some good info! I always paint around my foreground trees and then try to make it look like I didn’t. Kind of a “duh” moment! So easy to just lift the paint off! Thanks!

Hi Charles I recently purchased from you a full set of colours and paper ,but I have a problem with the hookers green ,its stays soft and gloopy so when I dip in I get more than I need ,any suggestion as to why this is happening, many thanks noreen
