What do you do with your waste wire

There is no waste if you know what to do with the type of wire you are using. Wire can be used for different components depending on its composition and guage, from jump rings, individual bead wraps, ear wires, etc. Just straighten gently and store offcuts by colour, composition and guage, preferably with the reel or coil it came from. Then then you need it, you can find it and build what you need. There's lots of ways to use offcuts.

use regular tea and honey, the tanic acid in the tea is good for your throat, like lipton or red rose, and the honey will sooth it.

Production jewellers rarely use rulers, as they don't have the time. If you've got to get out 30 pairs of earrings in a day, it's faster by eye. If you want in the design and process preparation, you can set up stock templates. But Matt's has put up nearly 300 tutorials, and is so experienced in his type of art he doesn't need a ruler. Just sayin'.
