I have not been able to get a single piece of jewelry since November. A couple days ago, as i was Binge watching random crap on youtube, I came across one of your videos. Thought 'why not? Maybe I'll get some tiny bit of a creative spark. Well that one video turned into super binge watching your videos from dusk till dawn. Well tonight I managed to get 4 earring & pendant sets out. Super simple but cute. But holy cow. One night. Thank you. Thank you so much. Your such a dork! (that's a good thing) And your fun to watch. I have watched so many tutorials and no one has ever actually sounded supportive and encouraging as you do in your videos. That right there... i think is what gave me that push to pull out my beads. So... Thank you. (and just so you know I have never left a youtube comment before. This is my first, THIS is how important your videos are for me right now.

Matt you’re fun to watch. I like it because you don’t edit out the mistakes. You just work it out on the video.

hey Matt! I love that pendant idea! I think I know what I would do to hold those beads. First, instead of 22 gauge wire, I would use 24 gauge (26 is too small). Then, to get that swirl affect you want, you use the 24 gauge to wrap the wire at the bottom of the bead, swirl it around the bead, then wrap the wire again at the top. I think that would work.

I’m taking notes: Love the wire but the beads are jerks. Got it!!😂😂😂

What if you started with the bread on the small gauge wire then wrapped the heavier gauge wire around to get the form you want? No threading! Everything you make is fun! I learn so much from you! I also like to roll with the punches. . My turn to try!

I used a26 gauge wire for the wrapping as I had a piece leftover from a previous project and it seems to book. Have to work on the encasing loops as mine don’t look as nice as yours. Nice project.

Hey, why don’t people use closed rings or split rings to hold their pendants etc? Wouldn’t that be safer? Blessings, G’ma ❤️🤗🙏🌀✨😊
@MattsCrazyArt4 жыл бұрын
Split rings are a pain. They require a special tool and most artists I've talked to don't like them.
