Looks like you are having a bit of under extrusion on that silver PLA print you have. Make sure your filament holder is rolling smooth and up your nozzle temp a bit, maybe 5 degs. If you a having vibration problems, I also saw a vid in you tube to use tennis balls as footing for your printer, just design an adaptor so that it can sit firmly. Nice design by the way, can't wait to see a finish car print from you.

If you can post an additional video of how you are using the printer for car modeling it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe covering all the pieces of this model, its assembly and what additional steps the model needs after printing to finalize it.

A member on the gt40 > SLC Clubhouse forum had an SLC 3D Scanned. I'm pretty sure he used a structured light set up. Professionally I would use Autodesk Alias to surface model over the scan data. In this case, I wanted to force myself to use/learn Modo to build a complete car. Modo has a retopology workflow that worked awesome to lay light weight sub Ds on top of the heavy triangles of the scan data.
