I have been doing the "educational toilet-habit" since 2017 or 18. It's very fun and relaxing. I read articles or quotes or listen to audios, and by the time I get out I have an idea or two, so it contributes to my creativity

When you said about having a good breakfast, especially for people with anxiety got me thinking that every time I have a good breakfast before work, my day goes much better and if for some reason I skip it, I just feel like it’s a horrible day.

Great practical tips Max! Reading has to be my number one. Books before bed and audiobooks when driving or doing something else. You gain insights into other peoples' minds without even having to ask them questions! Keep up the great work mate

I've never heard of the breakfast one. Typically I wake up and grab a coffee, no breakfast at all. I'm definitely going to try this. I also agree with the social media detox, I've been off of Instagram for a week now. It's been really hard to drop that habit but it's helped my mental health a lot.

Fats and proteins are the most difficult for the liver to breakdown. If we had them for dinner, the liver is likely still working to break them down when we wake up in the morning. Therefore, it’s best to have a light breakfast such as fruit which are full of vitamins and minerals which help give you energy. Carbohydrates are the best source of energy and that is why athletes like tennis players eat fruit during their matches. The liver must be taken care of as it’s the lover’s job to cleanse our body of unwanted things in our bloodstream so its role is crucial to our wellbeing.

I think all these habits are very important. I’m a sophomore in high school and reading is not that popular among teens, but to me it is very important and I enjoy it a lot. Not only do I read books (mostly nonfiction) such as Walden or Leaves of Grass, but I also subscribe to National Geographic because it gives me very interesting monthly content about the world and especially the outdoors, which I love. I always enjoy your videos and Instagram posts. Keep it up, Max!

For habit #2, it's actually the other way around for me and a lot of people. Your body releases the hormone orexin if you're hungry, which increases awareness since it was supposed to signal our ancestors that it's time to hunt for food whereas being full makes you want to take a nap. I experience the most productive early hours when I skip breakfast or a meal in general. 3 or even 4 meals a day isn't natural, it's just considered to be. Habit number 4 is a terrible one. Get off the damn seat, your posture there is terrible and it's necessary to give your brain a break at times. If you watch KZbin, time flies by without you noticing. I know, I'm guilty of this.

Oh I know the feeling. I run a client service business so this happens a lot. You can try waking up earlier to get a few hours before the ‘problems’ wake up. This will give you a head start to do what you planned. Also when the day details, don’t just discard it and push everything onto the next. You can pick it back up and get a few things done before sleep. Hope this helps :)
