Have you considered printing off the job details and taping the printout to the laptop? It would make job tracking a lot easier.

One of the weirdest ideas I was shown as a Communication Tech .While out n about training and learning while on the Job we came across a joint broken lid and full of mud . The suggestion was add hot water with a new lid and shake it up. Then let the hot water evaporate. And it worked as all the foreign Battery was gone too

I have an A2337 model M1 Air, it seems to not shutdown properly when clicking on shutdown from Apple menu. It just restarts. Also, it does not sleep when clicking on sleep. Goes into lock screen and then keeps turning display on and off every few seconds. Any clue on what could be causing these issues?

Did you ever have a magsafe or any other indicator on other machines where the LED was just burned out and fibbing about the situation?
@Adamant_IT8 ай бұрын
I've not seen that happen, no. However, I take the charger LED as "more information" not an assurance that the charger is/isn't working. It's not uncommon to see a MacBook charge just fine while the charger LED is off, because of a bad connection or something. So yea, if it's on, great, that's a good sign, but if it's off, that doesn't always mean everything is dead.

how is it possible for a fuse to partially fail ?. surely a fuse would either work or not work
@pow9606 Жыл бұрын
Suppose you could heat up water in a kettle and pour it in to the ultrasonic rather than wait 2 hours for it. Hit the degas and ..... Obviously some temperature monitoring would be required.

I have R8155 missing. Could this stop the MacBook from booting?
@Adamant_IT Жыл бұрын
Yes, that's a pull-up resistor for PP1v5_S0 on the PGOOD circuit. PGOOD is a group of pullups for the secondary power rails feeding into Q8150. Q8150 is a dead man's switch, if one of the pullups going into it is low/missing, then it pulls ALL_SYS_PWRGD low, which prevents the board from starting.
@nickiminajwannabe Жыл бұрын
@@Adamant_IT The board still provides USB Power and charging works fine, just doesn't boot. Could it still be Q8150?

I do not like any past 2016-2019 MacBook's, first 2 years are butterfly's keyboard issue, then 2017-2018 have a flashget issue , and 2018-2019 have a big problem with water damage (actually humidity damage) on screen connector that kills that CPU and same problem with SSD controler.

Is all that corrosion from liquid damage?
@Adamant_IT Жыл бұрын
Yea. Laptops have "always hot" power rails, where there is always power present, even when the device is off, provided the battery or charger is connected. When liquid shorts these rails to ground, the power electrolyses the liquid, causing the metals to rapidly oxidise and corrode. This corrosion is the _real_ damage in the case of most liquid spills.
