The Orange Crush is a simple to tie variation of the ever-popular Chernobyl Ant. It has worked well for me on both moving and stillwaters. Don't be afraid to play around with the foam colors either. Tan over yellow, as an example also works well.

I’m not a very good tier but would like to try this. Wonder how it would work with some weight for ice fishing. Probably not a good idea

Hi Matt, it is a pretty simple fly to tie and help build your confidence at the vise. This is a dry fly intended to fish on the surface so I wouldn't suggest it for any subsurface work. Cheers, Phil
