Great watching you talk about all of your equipment and styles of fishing. I'm in west central Ohio and the walleye fishing here is straight up north to Lake Erie. And it can be tough up there. Any chance you may film a few episodes there in the different seasons so I can pick up a few more pointers. Thanks for all you do for us walleye fishermen either way. 😊

Tom what do u reccomend for the forward facing 10,12,15..and do u like the seperate bracket or the trollung motor bracket
@klavaklav56168 ай бұрын
I’d say it depends on where you want to mount you monitor and fish from. I’ve used a 9” from the back and it was just fine. But ultimately I wanted to get a little bigger. 10” does a good job but the 12” is quite the step up. The 15” is just ridiculous. But would be awesome!

Hate posting negative comments because this channel used to be great but FFS has ruined it IMO. This is not another tool, and it is not good for fishing IMO. Wish Tom would just get back to fishing like his early videos.
@TomBoley8 ай бұрын
Don't feel bad about posting negative comments. I just go fishing and film what happens. Is forward facing bad for fishing or is keeping a lot of fish bad for fishing. People seem more concerned about what is on your boat than what you are putting in your livewell.

@@klavaklav5616 ya. Instead of taking what you can learn by what he all shows which is mapping. Depth. Water temp. Bait and rod reel leader and using that as a reference to become a better fisherman and looking at how the fish react and cadence you would rather complain about this is a learning opportunity if you want it to be or you you can sit and cry about how this guy shows you how and practices catch and release and proper handling of the fish. If your upset about live image complain to the manufacturers of it. But to watch a video you know you won’t like just to leave a bad review of it is idiotic. Good work Tom. Keep it up

Forward facing? Or anglers greed to keep a ton of fish? Which is the issue
@rumcoke91238 ай бұрын
@@TomBoley If you have ffs you WILL catch a ton of fish. Its pretty easy. I tried it 2 days ago and it took me and my friend 50 minutes to bag 16. When I fish in my own rig with none, even though I know the spots, I will be out for 4 hours and rarely catch 8. Its too easy and actually takes the fun away.

good point. I kept 2 for my family actually. Personally, I never keep more than 2 and often let all go. My friend keeps all the time as has large family and gives to his church. My point is many keep limits and with FFS its easy as heck.
