Yes mothers are the primary source of mentoring in their kids lives! I believe that and although with a career behind me , I treasure full time motherhood more and more every day and understand that this is the season in my life, therefore enjoying it 100%

Thank you for strengthening the family! ❤️ My sister told me about these and now I've passed them onto my sister-in-law.

I think we always need to do the right thing. That means respect should always be given. We don't earn respect. We need to respect people regardless if they don't respect.

My sister & I were raised by a single, working mom who was incredibly involved in our lives. We both have a fantastic relationship with her as adults so hang in there. I am married with one child and my husband and I both work, but are still involved. No one model is perfect, just love your kids and the rest falls into place.

That’s wonderful! I stay at home but our family time is reading God’s Word after dinner. Teens want a portion of our time. Should you be home, they wouldn’t want too much more time I promise 💕

I think we need to adress adult kids that live with us! thus is an important issue. They do things that we are uncomfortable. My daughter is 28..and its hard all i hear is Im an adult..but at her age I was a mother and married she had a boyfriend of three years. Not the same vocation this boy comes from a non Christian family leads my daught to antiGod behavior..its very difficult. To top this off his mother gave our daughter for Christmas a gift for both of them to spend a night at a hotel..I am beyond angry with this women. But here again I get I AM An adult. Do I call this women?

I personally think that you have every right to have rules and boundaries in your house. You need to be comfortable in your home so it sounds like she may need help to make a plan to get out on her own. I think you can only control what happens in your house and you don't really get a say in what the other mom does, even though it is a hard situation. Prayers for you!
