I like that you show the final product (at least the drawing of it) at the beginning. Many build videos show the work but in the beginning the viewer hasn't any clear idea how the pieces fit together.

I like this style of videos. Miss seeing your vids and like the messy shop, makes me feel better about mine, I spend more time moving stuff than building. On the holder, you could flip the top rails and give it a little Japanese flair. also would love to see the building of the jigs for the Boy Scouts to use.

Hell Musta Froze Over... I say this because I was whining to myself just a couple of days ago that I wish Nick would make a video... And I said to myself, "Self...Only when Hell freezes over..." You were probably preoccupied thinking of all the possibe "6 inch jokes"... Yes !! Do a video on your lathe sanding jig !! YES !!! Do more "quick 'n dirty" videos AND quick tips videos !! My shop is a disaster -- literally a disaster. Some 60+ year old plywood shelves (full of sh*t, of course) fell forward and f*cked my table saw up. :( But seeing this video in my subscription feed brightened up my day !! Thank you, Nick, and a big thank you to Stacey for the video work!!

I really enjoyed this style videography over the "ultra edited "versions. I can relate more to "flying by the seat of your pants" kinda of build video. I am always trying to compare my projects and techniques to something that seem unrealistic. This video how ever is more to how I am when working in my shops kudos to Mrs. Ferry! Yea ... i recomend you reduce the edited videos and just hand the camera over to the wife 😉 quick and easy ... Btw. Thanks to the wife 😁

I will pass that information along to her - I prefer it this way as well it was a ton easier for me and I actually had fun as opposed to tripping over camera equipment

Not sure I remember but it was most likely some sort of lacquer
