I love how you showed two styles of the reel! Love the vintage look for sure for a nature client, I don’t see this as much, usually it’s so clean, but this really made it feel organic as you said. Always love the before & after, you do that so well. I actually like the second cut without any sound added; it’s ASMR for sure! But I like both of them together, not one greater than the other. Really cool seeing someone else’s creative process, thanks so much for sharing! Can’t wait to see more work like this.

an insightful video! i've been trying to figure out my own workflow on editing so keen to try out your process! ♡ a couple questions i had was, 1. how do you comfortably talk to the camera? and 2. what inspires you for the style of shots you film?
@Havenotats9 ай бұрын
I'm glad it was helpful in anyway, it takes time to figure it out! 1) soo I think comfortability just came as a product of making lots of videos, I personally felt super uncomfortable when I first started (you can tell in my oldest videos) BUT I think you train yourself to get better at it. I usually try not to be so serious or try so hard, If I mess something up I will just try again or keep going lol. 2) I think my friends inspire me the most out of everyone! everyone makes super cool content online but also I get inspo from brand campaigns (try to take cool shots & replicate them ect..) Thanks for the questions!!

Love your vlogs as a n00b creator myself, you’re in my two fav places: AUS and Japan!!! Question about the text overlay: What’s your workflow with creating these handwritten overlays & incorporating them into the video (like do you create the video first and then add text as you see fit? Or do you plan out the text first) Thank you!
@Havenotats6 ай бұрын
Thank you! We all start somewhere~ I usually draw and transfer these from my Ipad after i've made my edit for the video. This process can be a little long and slow but I think it looks nice after it's all done. (I usually mark the timeline while editing to make a note of where a drawing could look nice as i'm editing)

What does your LR workflow look like? Do you apply presets and adjust accordingly or do you start from scratch with the RAW? Id be interested to see. I really dig your photo edits!
@Havenotats9 ай бұрын
Thank you for the question! I usually just create the look I like for 1 image without presets & then just apply the same corrections to images taken in similar situations. To then keep the whole set of images coherent I usually apply the HSL (colours) to the other images and just work on the curve for exposure! Everything is shot with raw files to give me more flexibility :)

Hello, thanks for the creative videos~ I have 1 question bro! How did you desaturate of the noise color? sometimes i filmed high iso video for personal vlog, but the noise color is too saturated when i saw the footage in the finalcut. something like rgb noise! Is there any solutions about the noise color? let me know about your opnion!!
@Havenotats9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment 🙏🏼 Im sure final cut has a plugin for de-noising video but I havn't used it before. (I edit with Davinci & it has an in-built one) I used it a little in this video but also there was a lot of noise I didn't notice until I posted it 😂 Shooting in your cameras native ISO could help you though (if you don't already) for instance, my sony has the least noise at ISO 800 & 3200.
