The back of the 6a is thermoformed plastic not glass like the 7. I have a 6a and I'd rather have the plastic back vs. glass, even though it's Gorilla Glass Victus

I had 6a and 7 I felt 6a better than 7 6a photography is far better than 7 bcoz google mastered in tuning algorithms for imx12.2 sensor Returned 7

I also have both phones, I love the pixel 6a overall size, I think 6.1 is perfect for compact phone. Pixel 7 has better internals and the new face unlock, which is another option to access the device. I pretty much got both devices for free less taxes, I trying to love pixel devices but Google still can't make a decent finger print scanner, the face unlock works but not for secured apps, I'm almost in disbelief how Google is still struggling with basic smart phone functions. When transferring data from old to the pixel I thought the device was going to explode as hot as it got, so there is definitely something still going on with the pixel 7 chip set as well.

The 7 is a definite upgrade, the camera is very very very nice, the battery surprised me too, it's all day. Although it's 6.3 in vs the 6a's 6.1 it doesn't feel that much bigger at all

Most of what you reviewed could've been learned from just reading the specs and previous reviews. Could you please be sure to include lots of Camera pic comparisons next time you do any "Vs" videos. Would've LOVED to see some actual images from the cameras of the two phones under different conditions!

I've had a go with the pixel 7 just thought it was the same as my pixel 6, I had to check it's back to see if it was a pixel 7. I then looked at the pixel 6a which was parked next to it . I preferred the pixel 6a display, it also seemed brighter , the 6a also felt nicer in the hand

Pixel 6 and 6a has better back camera lookm wise hopefully they take care of that back sticking out to far but then again get the white version reminds me of storm trooper and get the green one remind me of the bubba fett

Its premium plastic, emulates very well glass. and btw... why would you want glass when it shatters with just a scratch? plastic absorbs a lot the impact and its cheaper to fix
