I picked up Ruby Orchid and I have to say I really do enjoy it! I haven’t worn the original Flower Bomb in years and honestly forgot how good it smelled but RO would win over the original for me as well!

I used to wear the original flowerbomb years ago when Flowerbomb was the BK540/Delina of its day🤣. Constantly got compliments. I need to give the ruby orchid another try! That lipstick colour looks beautiful on you!

I think imma go with the Lataffah oud for Glory because I really want that scent profile in my collection. I have Initio’s Side Effect and I love it but I don’t wear it as much as I would like to. And like you said, it’s expensive! Thank you for this video!

And YSL Libreeeee, oh how I love this line. The original was too intense for me at first, but I do want to try it on my skin soon. The actual Intense is my fave & I will be buying the EDT soon haha 🤗. Loved this video so much!!!

I absolutely love black opium! I agree I do have several bottles in my collection that I may choose over black opium so it’s not high in my rotation as it once was. But when I do wear it I fall in love with it every single time all over again

First off, I love this new series...such a cool idea! I am going to try the New Opium soon!! I think I'll enjoy it! I feel the same way about Flowerbomb vs Ruby Orchid. The Ruby Orchid is beautiful, but smells very similar to the original lol. I love it even more though and it def smells better with my body chemistry!

Hi Ayesha, I know this is an older video, and I am a relatively new subbie. So I have only seen videos from past fews months and this format didn't show up. I must say: I love this type of video. Almost every perfume has at least one flanker, and it is hard to find out which one to buy. I always find your insights and experience very valuable, so I was kinda hoping you would bring this back.

Hi Ayesha. I enjoyed this format. I currently own Flowerbomb Nectar and the original Flowerbomb. I love both fragrances. I don’t own the Initio series but I may try the Lataffa version. Initio is very expensive but I am sure that it is worth every penny. Thanks for sharing!

I have OG flowerbomb, Nectar, Ruby Orchid, and Midnight. It's Nectar for me!! Nectar is sooo syrupy sweet. I just love her!! Midnight was not that girl!! at all!! I love the flomerbomb DNA, as you can tell.

I really appreciate the two comparison videos…especially from those with opinions I trust. (You 😀). I like the characteristics that you compare and the thought placed into creating the videos. OAN: I don’t get people calling things trash or old because they aren’t the latest and greatest. If you are a fragrance lover you more than likely don’t care when a fragrance came out…it is more about how it smells to you and the feelings it provokes for you. IMO. TFS!

As far as the Black Opiums I prefer the Extreme. The new one is very similar to the OG but it’s creamier. I’m guessing due to the fig. Flowerbomb was my signature for years! i still love it and it definitely projects. i bought Ruby Orchid and to me it smells good but it’s definitely leaning towards a skin scent which was a little disappointing. It may be great in warmer weather tho. I’m in MD so it’s not cutting thru the cold. Libre I was gifted the Intense and it dries down to the Og, which I’m not a fan of. I love the EDT however, the tea note balances the lavender.

How is the lasting power and projection of ruby orchid for you?

I would say moderate. I think it lasts around 6-7 hours on me. Projection is good, but not as beastly as the OG Flowerbomb.

Did you know that Atelier Cologne is leaving the US & Canada? They said In December stuff went 30% off to make room for new stuff and then dropped this bomb - lying the whole time ... their last day is March 12th

I received Black Opium as a Christmas gift. The scent was super lovely when u first spray it on, but it doesn’t last. Another one on my list of fragrances NOT TO BUY! Now, I look to HONEST reviews before making an expensive perfume purchase.

Ruby orchid made me roll my eyes to the back of my head, it smells so sexy!! I like to find perfumes I like and then by the oil perfume version of that scent bc it lasts longer on the body.

I have a travel spray of Libre and a full size of Libre Intense...don't need both. Thet smell the same yo my nose. I do plan on buying a full size of the eau de toilette because it smells different enough from the other two.

I know! The flankers are a cash grab! I am looking forward to Valentino Donna Coral Fantasy (another flanker, lol). Of course I have plenty of fragrances on my wishlist, but no other new ones (yet).
