Have you smelled Devotion intense? I sprayed my arm and was walking around and thought it smelled exactly like some bath and body works sprays, or at least that vibe - like Viva Vanilla or Vanilla Romance - I could be way off base from other things in the air or mixing on my arm accidentally, but sniffing the bottles I like the original - what do you think?

Hi! I’ve been following you for a while (my beautiful friend Keiko has mentioned you many times), but this may be my first time commenting! I just purchased the pink Donna BIR mainly because of the bottle, because pink is my favorite color too! I love Goddess. It’s unique to my collection! I have the travel size of the D&G and it’s definitely different for me because of the citrus. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet, but I only used it one time. I smelled the Black Opium once and I think I need to smell it again. I love vanilla and sweet scents! I loved your review and rating of each fragrance!

Hi Ayesha, is your Burberry Goddess getting darker? It looks darker. Donna Born in Roma Pink is the only DBIR that works for me. I tried the others and something is off on my skin. I have found that my Donna Born in Roma Pink is getting stronger with time. I only got a travel size of Black Opium Le Parfum because something in it isn't woo-wooing me.

Hi Ayesha, I have been heavily influenced by you (and a few others) with DBIR PP. It was NEVER on my radar; none of the DBIR perfumes. But the way you and Abi from FromAbiWithLove talked about it, made me want it. It is not available in the Netherlands, and Selfridges does not ship to my location. But this morning I was able to buy a 100 ml new in blister for €50 from someone! Such an amazing deal. I can't wait to put my nose on it, because it is a blind buy.

Good morning Ayesha! I own all of these fragrances except Valentino Born in Roma Pink PP (what a name!) which I do not plan to purchase. Valentino Born in Roma is a LOVE for me. Black Opium Le Parfum gives me a headache when worn alone, but layered with Kayali Vanilla 28 it doesn’t bother me and I love the combo. (By the way, Vanilla 28 used to make me sneeze too, but only for a couple of seconds. It’s just like strong black pepper makes me sneeze, but I still love it and keep on eating.😀) My ranking w/o Valentino PP - 1. Devotion; 2. Black Opium Le Parfum; 3. Burberry Goddess. If Valentino Born in Roma was being considered, she would be my number one! - Ms. Charlette

I only got a small bottle and travel spray (gift set) of Goddess and though I loved the scent, the longevity was an issue for me to not purchase a FB. I get a FB of Devotion and I love it. I'm intrigued by the Black Opium but feel I can get a better niche fragrance for the price. Love how you do your rankings and put in the work to do the math too🤯My brain does not compute math!! LOL

This video is super helpful for navigating these new (expensive)vanillas! I really wanted to love the Burberry and get the same experience so many are getting but alas, I don't get the hype. I haven't been able to get my nose on the PP🤭but I'm a sucker for the bottle so at that price maybe it's for the best,lol. I do have Devotion and even though it is a redundant profile in my collection, I can't help myself! 🥴. sidebar, I giggled seeing you using the tiny end of the test paper and not the wide end side to sniff🤣😆🤣tfs!!!

I have 3 out of the 4. I haven’t pulled the trigger on Devotion. Maybe a travel spray to scratch the itch. Thanks for your insights! My DBIR Pink definitely performs better than it did when I purchased it which was a couple of days after it was released. Goddess is a complete surprise! I tested it and wasn’t sure but I kept getting wafts of it throughout the day. The ginger and cacao are doing it for me. Delicious! And BO Le Parfum is so good to me. The only BO flanker I own. Great video! I really love Burberry Goddess! It was love at first sniff and I love it every time I wear it! Devotion was an immediate no at first sniff for me as it smelled like overly sweet synthetic citrus to my nose. I had no plans to try Pink PP . . . until this video that is! I love DBIR but other Valentino’s have poor performance on me. We will see about Pink PP (marketing fail on the name😂)! I will have to try it now!

Fragrance is so subjective. Everyone loves Goddess but it gives me a headache and the vanilla doesn’t come through fast enough for me. And I would have switched the package rankings. So fun!

Born in Roma gives me a headache but I think it’s the sickening sweet black currant - how do you feel about Bath and body Works Petal Parade and Pink Obsessed? I can’t decide if I like pink obsessed for the same reason - it’s a super sweet rose patchouli (fruitchouli?) I don’t even know how to describe it - I’m terrible at picking out notes (who would have thought Luminous has praline?) - I just get an overall feeling, like “fresh”, “sweet”, etc. I couldn’t name one floral in Pink obsessed except rose, which probably isn’t even in it. The only reason I recognize tuberose is because My Way was too much until it dried down - all I got was a white floral blast, but now I can recognize tuberose, even if it’s not bubblegum - everyone raves how high end those dupe body mists are, but I’ve discovered through forcing them to smell stuff that the people closest to me like softer, clean scents, like Ivory Cashmere or my daughter’s favorite on me is Salt Air (says it’s “me”) - so I stopped trying to force myself to love complex powdery florals because they give us all headaches - that long winded story was just to say I love Burberry Goddess and ordered Black Opium Le Parfum yesterday from Ulta half off and don’t have a clue what it smells like - I’ve heard reviews that it’s summery and others say it’s winter cozy (my favorite). So I’m hoping it’s good!

I own the black opium one and Devotion. I have goddess on the way. Devotion will be a forever love for me. Extremely joyful gourmand. It brightens everything up for me. The black opium isn’t sweet enough for me but I love it. It’s comforting . I’ll see how I get on with Goddess. Can you tell how much I love vanilla??! 😊

I love the sillage of devotion and I don’t own a lemony vanilla, yet😉. Born in Roma intense is the only one I truly love. Haven’t smelled any of the opium that I truly enjoy. The new Burberry smells nice but it’s not a wow to me.

D & G Devotion is the only one worth buying for me. Goddess is nice but it is boring and over priced for what it is. The most affordable version of this similar style is Divine Vanille. The other ones I dislike all of the flankers including these new ones. The Barbie one is the worst out of the Born in Romas. I'd rather pick up Parle Moi Guimauve de Noel.
