I would say link's sword charge is alright, it's a tool that the power-up gives you (similar to cat suit's dive), and it's not like it just free speed you have to charge up to use it. It only shows up in a few select levels in one theme, I feel like Walkies is about using the tools provided to squeak out close wins against players that have a significant advantage against you (the run button) which means tools should be taken full advantage of rather than ban them otherwise we should ban a ton of things like the Koopa car in the 3d world theme. Doing this would take the fun away because it's not literally about "go painfully slow and try to win" but "no running, use tools like sliding, wall jumping, Koopa cars, catsuits, link charge, etc. to win".

On the topic of rules for Walkies I feel like once you hit S rank or maybe before you will need to add an exception to no running or large gaps will just consistently kill the level (and your mood), whether it's just you can run to pass a gap or maybe add running with items, I think we will end up needing to amend the rules to truly reach the upper echelons of Walkies

If your still considering solid rules, I like the idea of you being able to press and hold the run button a certain amount of times each episode, but if you use it and don't win it still takes down from your run uses. You could also have link costume features take from this counter too.

Why has no one made a team based capture the flag level? spawn has 2 pipes, 2 subworld pipes on each far end, with checkpoints and oneways for fast respawns, then an exit pipe at each base to take you to the end where there is a 2 player check so both people on a team win at the same time.

Walkies Rules: You are not allowed to hold the run button with the intent to run. Using it to quickly throw items, shoot fireballs, fire arrows, etc is allowed as long as you aren't running while doing it (Unless the run speed came from a wall jump or slope).
