Hi, actual Sam's Club employee here, just wanted to chime in and say that the red bob-omb is doing way too much given where he is. If one of us is sent to watch the entrance (usually a cart attendant [me] or a cashier), we make sure a member has a cart ready for them right as they walk in. We don't ask for a member to show their membership, because if they don't have one, they can't check out anyway. Also the red bob-omb mentions the membership being 50 coins. Although I do not know the conversion rate of US Dollar to Mushroom Kingdom Coins, I can safely assume that, based on wording, the red bob-omb is talking about the Basic Membership. Now with how the red bob-omb is acting, I'm surprised they didn't try and upsell Mario to try and get him to sign up for a Plus Membership. Also we don't stand outside to watch entrance, we stand in the vestibule just between the outside and inside of the club. We also don't ban members for eating free samples. However, if you are an employee and try even just one sample while on the clock (or on your lunch period and/or break), they will fire you. Lastly I cannot comment on the inside of the club as I am a cart attendant. I spend a majority of my shifts outside, only really going inside to clock in/out and take my breaks. So for all I know, the inside is completly up to standard.
