I'm curious, I thoght the clarke and park transform would be dificalt to do in software would it be easer to use a dedicated FOC chip that dose the clarke and park transform in hardware?

True, but modern processors are more than capable to do the math and still achieve fast loop times.

Hi, this is very cool project! I was wondering does this new SimpleFOCShield V2.0.3 use current chopping? I have high power bldc motors with low internal resistance(>100 milliohms), is it possible to limit current with this controller? I am currently using vesc, but i would like to give try for this. Edit: I skimmed source code fast, and i guess there is closed loop controller for current chopping. Is there some limits for motor phase inductance, my motors have also really low phase inductance, so current rise time is very fast.
