the most tense moments in the truck for us was when I'm backing up. He INSISTED on getting out and directing me. So straight from school to driving I really didn't learn to back well ... just follow directions. He would never even let me try without him and wouldn't even consider I could do it by myself. It's ridiculous that a driver can't back lol. We are not driving at this time. I would love to go back to it BUT! by myself and I would have to learn how to set up and back all over. We have been married 36 years and I felt like driving was not worth our marriage.

Good morning I have a question I have 24 years experience, I had my 1st child at age 46, 5 years ago. I'm read to get back on road again, I'm homeschooling my son, DO u know what Trucking allowed me to bring my son on road. My husband will also teaming with me my husband have no experience.

I love hearing this!!! I had a follow that was an entire family living on the road in the truck. I believe that drove for Warren. Some companies may require you to do a short refresher course. You would be lead drive and would train your hubby

Why does no one ever talk about intimacy in husband-and-wife driving teams? How do you just agree and stay happy as a married couple without being physically intimate at all because of constant work, zero free time, and zero privacy? I'm a Christian and I believe God is telling us in the Bible not to deprive/defraud one another as husband and wife of the physical intimacy that they are called to experience?
