Simpleng Pamumuhay sa Bukid | The Making of Traditional Native Steamed Bread 'Putotik'

Hello Friends 😊. I hope you are all doing well.
Today, I be sharing our Simple Life here in the Mountain.
Way back then, we used to feed our chicken with Boiled taro stalks and Tahop. Since we just had our Corn from the Miller, we also have a free Taho, cornmeal or Tiktik in Bisaya word and mais ginaling or mais # 12. So here are the recipes that I can share to you.
For Tahop, we used it to feed our Chicken combine with taro stalks.
For cornmeal or Tiktik I made an steamed cake or we call it Putotik.
For corn grits I simply boiled for our lunch.
Putotik ingredients
2 cups corn meal
3 eggs
5 pieces banana (bungan) is best in this recipe
1/2 cup melted margarine or butter, just add a pinch of salt if you are using butter
1 1/2 cup coconut cream or evaporated milk
1 tbsp baking powder
3/4 cup brown sugar
