Lmao I love that Jane just randomly starts a sand castle battle with a little girl. It's always sad when you see a father that you can tell loves their kids but just has lost the will to live outside of them. And is so apathetic to life.

I agree with what you said about the dad. I think that's what Lisbon saw as well. He's not a bad person, but lost his way after his wife died.

I think the acting is this show is amazing, if you rewatch this ep. you'll notice that all four of them are uncomfortable or seems to be lying in different level since the beginning, but Hope is the one who often lead them into a direction all along. So much fun for both first time watch and re-watch!

This was actually the first episode I saw; I was initially not going to watch this show because from what I'd heard it sounded like a rip-off of Psych, which I wasn't fond of. And then one evening I was flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch with my friend and we landed on this. Got sucked in immediately and I've been a fan ever since.
