The villains would have looked so much better if they shot at night like they did in the first couple seasons - and the grey filter. The shadows are what made them scary, instead they look exactly as they are - people in costumes.

What I wished they would've done in s15, is that they bring back the filter Kripke used in s1-s5. Cause they're trying to like make it full circle. You know the grey filter,idk the filter but it's grey

The network stopped making them use the filter. Also the first three seasons were on film, so that also helped with the grittiness. Their budget was cut so much by now they couldn't do a lot of things. Part of the reason the bunker was never destroyed even though it should have been, a lot, throughout the seasons.

@@hisgirlfriday28 bruh, they stopped using it I know, that's why I wished they would've bring that filter back. About budget, they have a lot of budget in the last season, bringing back the filter doesn't really use that much budget. And yes Supernatural is supposed to be a movie on s1-s3(i think) but still they could still put the filter. This excuse is like how they killed of Charlie. The bunker part you keep talking about, I have no idea where you got that in my comment. But it's cool...

@@KlaSiKo4 I was saying they stopped using the filter because they were told by the studio to. It's also why S6 looks so weird, they used the new and more popular at the time orange filter. I remember one scene where Jensen's spray on tan looked ridiculous because of it. Also S1-3 supposed to be a movie?? I don't understand. I meant s1-3 were filmed on film, actual film, and then they switched to digital. So the first three seasons, the grittiness of the grey filter and the use of film, which naturally makes scenes darker cause of lighting, really added to the style. Digital makes things lighter since they don't have to print on film. I wish they would have used the filter too, but that doesn't fit the aesthetic of the show anymore unfortunately. As for the bunker, that was an example of how they didn't have a budget. Like they chose not to wreck the he bunker during scenes that they should of, like when fights were happening, Michael in S14, because they didn't have enough. And I if I remember correctly their budget was still lowered in S15 from the previous years.

@@KlaSiKo4 No I agree with wishing they brought the filter back for these, or at least shot them at night to make the spirits more spirit-like and less like people in costumes. I have not heard that rumor and don't quite understand it. Yes, Kripke said he originally planned on not including angels, but obviously that changed, and he said how the angels, and Cas really improved the show. Which reminds me how in the original treatment of the show the brothers last name wasn't Winchester, but Harrison. I wonder if it's an idea people were doing for fic?

The emotions are so high here that the comic relief of Bel was much needed. But it has to be so hard for all three of them to look at a demon in their son's body. Especially when he keeps flirting with Dean. And Cas made the deal to bring him back only last season.

Well remember demons are just lil entities possessing ppl. Kinda like when dean could see the real face of demons in S4 when he was going to hell. So even if bel didnt have eyes he'd still has his real face.

Demons shouldn’t be able to see without their eyes, no. Remember S4E1 when the demon possessing the random woman from the cafe attacked Sam? And something had burned her eyes out? She couldn’t see, so the demon possessing Jack shouldn’t either, but what’s continuity?

That demon was possessing a meatsuit that had eyes when she took it. This time, the demon possessed a body with no eyes. Presumably, he compensated for that. If demons couldn't see without human eyes to look through, they would be unable to operate in smoke form.

that's true, but i have a theory that kind of makes sense out of the retcon.... Those demons had their eyes burned out when they were already possessing people. Demons have their "true faces" behind their vessels, so the demons' own eyes were burned out with the vessels'. In this episode, Jack had already lost his eyes, so Belphagor was still able to see with his own eyes since he possessed his body after the fact. That's my take on it anyway

Welcome to S15 where A Plot: Chuck is evil - The family, TFW 2.0 must defeat him B Plot: Dean and Cas' relationship C Plot: Bringing back as many characters as they can and sometimes make their fate worse than it was! (i.e. Kevin!) And also make some decisions that don't make any sense - especially at the end.

Guess they could only fit so many in these episodes lol plus if the actors are available but some they use different actors right lol just do the effect to show oh its yellow eyes lol oh the horsemen lol but it'd been cool if they had Genevieve or Katie as ruby and that first dude that played yellow eyes lol. Michael has been in he'll all this time cause he wasn't in the cage with Lucifer so he was just somewhwre else in he'll lol
