Just like how Sam is like Dean's kid, Jack is Cas' kid and parents put their child before all. I understand both Dean and Cas' decisions and feelings. And just like all three other members of TFW 2.0 in the past, Jack is being manipulated. No one is in the wrong here. I personally agree more with Cas but...you know...

@@patrickmcguire7896 yes, I do understand Dean's decision even though I don't agree with it. I also agree Cas should have told them about the snake, but I also understand why he didn't. Cas' main character flaw (not sure if that's the correct term) is how he tries to do things on his own, tries to protect Dean and Sam, and that really starts with S6's plotline. And they continued doing it. But I don't know how much would change if he would have told them with where they wanted to take the plotline. *Spoilers* I think some of the drama (especially b/t) Cas and Dean here and at the beginning of S15 feels forced and more than the characters would do. But that was done to really make the B plot of 15 Dean and Cas and drive home the emotion of The Trap and Despair. And then give us no true resolution after that, but that's another topic. But agreeing with Cas I mean about him getting mad at them putting Jack in the box. I too would be mad about it.

I'm on Cas side. The first time I watched this episode, I have a hard time watching them trying to get Jack to the coffin. Literally getting stab in my heart when they did that. Dean...nothing new angry angry angry. At this point I'm just so done with Dean being angry lol. Castiel killing Duma is so unexpected its awesome

Episodes like this really frustrate me, when they set up two scenarios as the only options, when there are clearly others, or at least theoretical options the characters should explore before going to the one they go to. Like, why not consider the option to build a bigger box? Heck, why not construct a box the size of a room, a comfortable space to be in. Cas and Jack could stay there together for a while, having lessons on morality etc , while Sam and Dean keep looking for a way to restore Jack's soul, however long that might take, without the fear of Jack hurting anyone. Even if you couldn't make a bigger box, stay with Jack while he is in the box. When Cas comes back, he can be on Jack-watch indefinitely since he doesn't need to eat or sleep or anything, trying his idea of carefully teaching Jack right from wrong. If Jack hadn't broken out, what did Sam and Dean think would happen when Cas got back? Either you think he is with you, and you could have spoken to him about this before doing it (just pray to him), or you think he disagrees, and how are you going to stop him from freeing Jack then, since you did nothing to keep him from entering the Bunker? It seems like such a poorly thought out decision that it makes the characters seem more careless and less intelligent than we know they are, and honestly like they don't care that much about Jack.

Well Logan, you said Dumah had to go, so Cass was just doing what you asked. LOL! If I saw Jack standing there with his eyes glowing like that, my response would be a quiet "oh f**k."

Sam doing what his big brother wanted. I hate to say but Dean has the right to be upset but he to me especially here doesn't show he really cares about jack. Sam trying to give Jack the benefit of the doubt and of course im on Cas side.
