SIMPLEST Iron Farm (333.33/HR) - Minecraft 1.21 Tutorial

Couple of tips for this farm - golems may spawn on caves so just check what's under the farm and put buttons/strings/slabs/pathblocks to spawnproof the cave - villagers outside the farm can spawn golems through gossiping, either get rid of the villagers or kill the iron golems that spawn - if golems don't spawn, just put blocks on the "feet" of the bed and let the villagers sleep, remove the blocks when all villagers already slept on their beds and golems should start spawning. - when making multiple iron farms, make sure that the villagers from your 1st iron farm are 16 blocks away from the iron golem spawning chamber of the 2nd iron farm, and vice versa. - you can use other job site blocks (such as blast furnace, smoker, smithing table and fletching table), as long as it has a flat surface on top. - you can suffocate the golem by putting blocks and pathblocks/buttons on top if you still don't have lava. - use lightning rods to protect the villagers from thunder - put "bottom" slabs around the killing chamber to stop villagers from swimming in the lava, make sure it's non-flammable. - a lot of people ask "can you build this in bedrock?". Unfortunately no, the feature scaring the villagers to spawn iron golems is only exclusive for java edition.

very nice farm--something original for a change. You can keep the other villagers from spawning another iron golem through gossip by making sure they have less than 4 total beds that they can path find toward.

it works! it actually works! I can't figure out how to place the lava without it creating cobblestone under it, so I just left the blocks to suffocate the golum. It's probably a little slower, but I'm not complaining because this design is awesome!!!

Yes, you can. It is not necessary for villagers to have a job in order to spawn an iron golem. ( Java 1.20+ )@@n64briel

@@sahil_2233 put blocks on top of the beds and check if they're all sleeping. If not, then break and place back the beds. That's a glitch in iron farms.

I also got questions about your farm and I would really appreciate a response. What do I need to do if not all three villagers sleep on the three beds? Have a done a mistake? Are there any factors that could affect a villager not sleeping on the farm bed? Also, I have a village near the base will that affect it at all? Do I need to remove the beds from the village? Ty.

They will sleep on the bed automatically as I have done tests and most of the time they sleep. They will abandon their old beds and claim the beds on the iron farm. If this is not the case, you can just kill the villager that doesn't sleep and place 3 OPENED trapdoors on the feet of the bed so they can make BEBE. Villagers outside the farm won't do anything on the farm itself since the focus of the farm is on the 3 villagers. If they manage to spawn an iron golem outside the iron farm, just kill it. Villagers outside the farm can gossip so this can happen, but they can't do anything on the iron farm itself. You don't need to remove the beds from the village. Hope this helps!

you can but make a fence about 8 blocks away from the dirt path, villagers can scan iron golems within 16 blocks and other villagers within 10 blocks so you need to put a wall down

You can but seperate the farms by 2 blocks apart. Villagers can detect iron golems 16 blocks near them, so just have a space of 2 blocks between the path blocks

Is that hopper supposed to put drop into chest? Because mine does not. Items stay in the hopper. Never saw a hoppee working side by side with a chest, isnthere a trick to make it work?

Make sure you are facing to the chest when you put the hopper. PRESS SHIFT so you can place the hopper (if you don't press shift then you will just open the chest).

Don't put nitwits (green villagers) because they can't get a job. Make sure all of them can sleep. Check if there are caves around you and spawn proof those. I have commented other tips to make sure the farm works, kindly read it and have a nice day :)

Villagers outside the farm can spawn golems by gossiping, you can't really control it unless you get rid of said villagers or the iron golems that spawn. Also check for spawnable blocks in your farm, you might not have put buttons on the slabs or turn dirt to path blocks.

The head of the bed should be on the barrels not on the front of the zombie. Also try moving the boat backwards a little bit like 2 taps backwards.

Space them out by at least 16 blocks so they can't cancel each other. Villagers scan for iron golems 16 blocks around them so what i can suggest is that count 16 blocks from the dirt wall, then make the other dirt wall on the 16th block.
