One C3 cycle requires 3 ATP 2 NADPH 1 CO2 To get 1 molecule of Glucose (C6H12O6) multiply the above with 6 3x6 = 18 ATP 2x6 = 12 NADPH 1X6 = 6 CO2 One C4 plant requires 1 CO2 5 ATP 2 NADPH To get 1 molecule of glucose 5x6 = 30 ATP 2X6 = 12 NADPH 1X6 = 6 CO2
