From Satans quotes in the Bible we see his methods. (1) appealing to the flesh (see temptation of Christ) (2) appealing to doubt (Christ’s temptation #2, Job) (3) telling us we can be like God (Genesis 3, the third temptation of Christ, Eziekiel, Tower of Babel, and now these days left wing churches and prosperity doctrine) Satan was not just a murderer from the start but a liar who “when he lies speaks his native language.” Think about it, every single death since the garden is part of his first murder, poisoning the world through sin. You can see him still doing it today through false signs, false prophets, false “love is love” nonsense, and just like Satan did in the first deception twisting scriptures to make what is forbidden thought of as ok… look at churches that have women pastors, look at churches that claim God changes to fit our sinful social norms. Be careful my friends, the Bible teaches that Satan is the worst mass murderer in history and he is after us all. Take heart though, God will defeat him with a word because Satan has no power at all compared to the most high.

We have saints that were former prostitutes, murderers, robbers, and so much more. Christianity is the path to being a former ____ Romans 1 lists sins that are examples of those that will keep someone out of heaven but the next line Saint Paul says “and such WERE some of you.” Get a Bible and read it, Start with Mark, then jump to Romans. I also suggest Ecclesiastes even for non believers because who wouldn’t benefit from 6000 year old wisdom that is as applicable today as it was then.

Jesus is Lord! He paid for your sins! By the way, we were all sinners. (that’s our nature without God) Since we sin, we deserve a punishment and that punishment is death. However, Jesus saved us from that penalty. Jesus died a very bad death for you. He was nailed to a cross. Jesus took our punishment even though He didn’t have to. He never sinned. (He didn’t deserve death) God (YAHWEH) wants your heart because He loves you. Jesus was the perfect Lamb to sacrifice because He had no blemish. We can receive the Holy Spirit if we do these things: 1. Admit we are a sinner and repent from your sins (turn away from sin) 2. Believe that Jesus is God and He died for you and rose for you 3. Confess that Jesus is Lord. I love you, please take this into action. God loves you, Jesus loves you and the Holy Spirit loves you! You were in Their mind before creation. If you do these things you can have eternal life with God in Heaven! Look at creation, you can tell that there is a creator, the proof: creation. In the same way you know that there was a painter because you can see the painting. God is real and He’s coming to judge the world. It’s not by our own works we get saved but the works of Jesus Christ. Put your trust in Jesus and let the Holy Spirit lead your lives! I love you all, that’s why I am sharing this! Reference to Job. That is exactly what Satan tried with Job. Job lamented, he was covered in sores sitting in the ashes and ruins of what had been a good life. Satan took everything from him to try to make him curse God. Job complained and tried to figure out why until at last God answered him. Job repented and God blessed him more than ever. There is a larger point here: Like Esau trading his inheritance (a promise for the future) for a bowel of soup now (a desire of the flesh). Job went through the worst things possible as he held strong to the promise. Job 19:25-27 “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. My heart faints within me!” As such we should endure all things holding onto God’s promise for us.

Casting out demons and resisting the devil are not the same thing. Resisting the devil is more like what we see when the devil tempted Jesus. Resisting the devil is simply that, refusing temptation and rebuking his lies. Sometimes it requires speaking the word (reminding both yourself and the devil what God has said) sometimes it requires nothing more than you saying no, shutup, go away. Though most times it requires you making a refutation (such as no) and speaking the truth (the word of God regarding that specific temptation).
