any constraint with a equal sign can be converted into two greater than/less than, basically X /= 2, means the same as X = 2 and just divide by -1 on the >/= to obtain -X

I don't understand why you would make your objective function variables all negative before doing the tableau. z=3x1+2x2+5x3 to z-3x1-2x2-5x3. i have seen other examples and this was never done.

in this case R2 should be 1, it is given because it is key element. So in the expression R1+A*R2 you have R1=-2 and R2=1, so you need to find the coefficient A only.
