Great pants despite the challenges. Too bad the description left out the pocket details. I agree! I rely on the images and details of the pattern cover. The model’s version definitely look like they are slim/close fitting pants. Thanks for the review! I love this series!

"She made the slim version", hilarious! Now miss lady, those pants look slim because the model is slim. Though I am neither the model's build or yours, you nailed it for all those who are built like you...and are not. That fabric definitely brought it to another level. I think u may be on to something though. The pattern companies should show a few different size models so we can all have a better idea of what it could look like on us. The pants look beautiful and as always u nailed the look! Glad you still plan to enjoy them. Tfs!

Hi Monique! Thank you for your comments!!! My husband was so serious too LOLOLOL!!! I feel like the pattern pieces are a bit to wide past the hip, which is why I think there is too much fabric. I noticed it but I didn't alter it because I wanted to make sure it would fit. I guess that is why it's good to make a muslin first, but I don't have the patience. Although I think the pattern pieces are wider than they should be, I could be wrong and it would be nice to see a smaller and larger model on each cover... Even if they draw it. I'm glad you liked them!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the concerns and tips. I have this pattern and agree, I would want a more tapered in leg like the pattern cover (seems) to feature. So good to know I'll have to be mindful how much room it actually gives. Thanks for the big warning! Pants still look great! Fatmata's work is BEAUTIFUL and love all the piping detail she does as well! Yes to more piping to come!! 💗

LOL! That’s actually the way I ALWAYS sew inseam pockets! I like it because I cuts down on the bulk in the hip area - especially with knits. I already have enough natural bulk! You know you could always just use that shaped pocket pattern and apply it like a patch. Love the piping. You did a great job!
@CreativiteeByT
@CreativiteeByT Жыл бұрын
🤣 That's so cool that you always sew your pockets this way. I put pockets in everything and this is the first pattern to introduce that method. I will say that it's cleaner! Yes, you are definitely right. I could have attached them like patches but I had already stitched them down to one side by the time I realized what was happening and was too lazy to unpick 😆. I'll read ahead next time 😅! Thank you so much for your comments!! 😃🥰🤩

First I wanna say that I absolutely adore all of your videos! Second, I am so glad that I watched this video in particular, because I was considering that pattern after you and Sheree showed it because I like the slim look with the tapered cuff. So I appreciate your honesty in this video. They do look really good on you though and may pair well with some tennis shoes and a bomber jacket 😊 Also, you are a boss for taking pictures in the cold with snow on the ground
@CreativiteeByT

Awwww! Thank you so very much! I hope you do make them because it would be nice to know if the fullness is from my size or if the width of the pants are truly drafted too big. Definitely a bomber jacket and tennis shoe type of look and I also love the idea of heels 👠! About that snow ❄️….. It was FREEEEEEZZZING! It is always too dark inside to get good photos especially with these darker prints so that photo shoot went really quick lol. Side note 📝…. I hope you blog your process and progress in your garden because I love watching those videos too and I’m growing one this year. Thank you for watching!😍

Wow!!!! I TOTALLY THOUGHT THEY WERE PATCH POCKETS! They turned out cute but you’re right this pattern does look more slimmer in the leg than it is. Dang man. I understand your frustration. Your husband’s comment 😂. This is totally cute on you though.

Right!!! I was so confused when I was following the instructions for the pocket... I was thinking... how is this going to be on the outside like this.. As I continued to read, I was like NOOOO WAAAYYYY! LOL. I should have read it ahead of time but I didn't because the pattern seemed so simple. My husband was sooo serious too! I totally really like both your pants and Sheree’s pants. Girl you are always on point. Ms. T, I hope you can help me desperately with a problem I have. I bought African print fabric from Amazon and I can remove the glue in it. HELP if you know how to remove it.
@CreativiteeByT
@CreativiteeByT Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, Shirls! For the glue, you need to get a paper towel and put it on top of the glue area and then put a hot iron to it to heat the glue up. Once the glue has been heated, it will peel off easily.

Seems like you could slim down the legs by taking in the side and inner leg seams from the hip down, then taper down to the cuff area. You know?
@CreativiteeByT
@CreativiteeByT Жыл бұрын
Hi Nancy!!!! Thank you so much for your comments!!! I actually tried doing that but the pant leg started raising and I think it may have something to do with the pleats. Not sure because I don't make pants often enough but they got shorter and shorter when pinning.
