I’m all about heirloom items and just well made things in a disposable world. This looks like the most amazing little spatula. You have a real talent of adding things to my ‘I need this in my life list’ 😂 Always a joy to watch 😊

Sure does! The full size shovel intrigues me. I wonder how it would fair to a steel with timber handle shovel. I think you need a new shovel Milo 🫣

I really dig the colors, that seems like something I haven't seen before in spatulas for outdoor cooking. Kinda like how raw it looks.

Totally hear ya, Liam! It's refreshing to see outdoor gear that looks like a real person made it but it is also practical. Glad you enjoyed the video. Make sure to check out Pierre Built's other stuff. The shovels are totally on my holiday list. www.etsy.com/shop/PierreBuilt

Loved this segment and the spatula. Thanks for turning your viewers onto this cottage brand! I didn’t know anyone besides QiWiz was making UL titanium spatulas. Do you find that it wears or scratches the seasoning at all on the cast iron? That’s the main reason I steer clear of metal accessories with cast iron pans, but maybe that thin Ti is different?

In the same vein, if you haven’t heard of Adirondack American gloves, they’re right in the small, specialized craftspersonship category you are highlighting.

Thanks for your comment John, I appreciate your words greatly. I've seen QiWiz in the past for his trowels but you've got me noodling now on needing to do a comparison for these spatulas. Have you used any of QiWiz's gear? I found there to be no issues for scratching, and in fact it had the right amount of power to scrape that I was looking for. That being said, all my cast iron pans now have been hand milled post pan purchase so they're perfectly flat which makes for a clean surface to run the spatula on. If your pan is appropriately seasoned, I don't foresee any issues for a non milled pan as well. As for the gloves, thank you for tuning me onto another great American made brand. Going to be checking them out.

@@milotash Unfortunately, I don’t have any first hand experience with the QiWiz products. Thanks for that info on the spatula and cast iron. That’s a great point about sliding a metal utensil on a smooth pan vs. unmilled!

John. they do great in CAST iron. I have somewhere between 60 to 100 spatulas out. I forget probably alot more and I get emails and DMs about how they do great on cast iron. I live up north and cook on Titanium and cast iron exclusively.

If you live in the UK sadly one is out of luck as they don’t deliver to UK.
