Carvel Austin given the lack in blade speed/hp, probably 3.5” or lower. I don’t think you can get the vacuum from these mowers that you will from a full commercial machine.

Andy Albright to be completely honest I did not look at it. All I can say is that it didn’t move in my trailer. In time they all need adjusting..

Yes,🌼 allabout.wiki/Snapper the bag fills up pretty quickly when there are lots of leaves and I guess that is expected. It is quick to take the leaf catching bag off and put it back on. There is one bar with rubber ends that fits into a slot (bottom), one bar with angled ends that hangs on rubber hooks (top), and two stretchy loops that each hang on a rubber hook (one each side). You can hold the leaf catching bag with one hand full and not drop any leaves. It is NOT easy to empty it into a lawn bag without spilling. My trick: I put two lawn bags side-by-side in a large garbage bin and emptied the leaf catching bag into them. What spills falls into the garbage bin. 90% of the leaves end up in the bags this way with 0% back on the lawn.

Its not too bad of a mower I have the snapper pro s50x version it had the 48 icd deck it stripes nice but quality of cut sucks you have to double cut a lot with it. I love that it is compact and tight but that's about it

when you say the cut quality is bad..i have to ask if you are driving the mower too fast and are your blades sharp and deck level correct...dont mean to insult but i am wondering why some people say that ferris - simplicity have poor cuts, even though you will hear complaints about all brands of mowers.

Sorry that I did not checkout the new 2019 Ariens Ikon X model before buying the Courier !Better mower for $6 to $7 hundred less at Home Depot.

Bextar636 I’m not familiar with the ariens machine. What makes it a better mower?

I’m was going to buy an ikon but they can’t get them in for 3 weeks, I went by simplicity and they have a courier 52 in stock.. even with the suspension on there you’d still prefer the ikon? The ikon seems beefier, 10 gauge vs 12 gauge

@@Jord_45 The suspension is just a sales gimmick to get a higher price, as far as I'm concerned it does zero to smooth out the ride.

@@bextar6365 i watched a video of a guy comparing the ferris zero turn with suspension to a toro without suspension. he rods over some obstacles with the ferris and was smooth riding. he rode with the toro and nearly got thrown off the mower. if you dont want to wear out your back and your body then you go with suspension. its not a gimmick at all
