The most UNDERRATED mower brand (Simplicity)

Simplicity zero turn brand review - and why this brand is my sleeper pick when looking for a zero turn. What makes a simplicity a simplicity? Here are a few reasons why simplicity makes a high quality zero turn mower, and could be argued to be one of the best zero turn mowers you can buy. Yep. Simplicity is the mower I’ve used for years. Bought it used, now it has over 1300 hours on it.

My grandparents bought a Simplicity mower in 1967 and 1977 and they both still run to this day!!! In 2021, I bought a new Simplicity Citation XT and I wouldn't trade it for anything!!! I rode a Kubota that was $13000, and it was like riding on an old hay wagon. The Citation XT is like mowing the yard with a Cadillac the ride is so smooth

I am a former small tractor tech, and Simplicity was by far the easiest to work on. Also, that roller in back is not just for striping - it makes for a superior cut because it rides the terrain evenly. I haven't used the zero turn models, but I might get into one soon.

I bought a simplicity cobalt 61 inch zero turn summer of 2019. It has the 28 horse vanguard. Can’t believe how great this mower has been. Over 300 hours and super rough rocky terrain with over 95 trees and another 200 fence posts I have to navigate around.

Yep been running a simplicity since 1966 .garden mark made by simplicity. 48 inch deck .48 inch snow plow. And 36 inch rotor tiller. When simplicity was their own company.

A 2007 simplicuty citatuon z turn mower that had a briggs and stratton 23hp vanguard v twin engine. That this was a workhorse that i used wvery simmer from 2007 through about 2019 yo cut lawns. Every summer i took care of 12 to 14 lawns. That mower cut better then any John deere mower i had owned.

I've got one exactly like that. 23 hp vanguard, I like that it has separate hydro pumps and wheel motors, a big reservoir tank, and just 1 spin on filter. Hard to find them like that now. It has over 600 hours on it now, and total upkeep besides routine oil and filter changes and greasing. 12 grease fittings. I've replaced one PTO clutch, 1 voltage regulator, one idler pulley that didn't have a grease fitting, and just now replaced a starter solenoid. Not bad at all after 16 years of use mowing 2 yards weekly. I change oil and filter every 50 hours, and keep the air filter cleaned and or replaced. Barely uses any oil in 50 hours of use. Great motor, adjusted the valves twice.

Blade spindles are 90 to 110 dollars each for OEM. Stens brand are 65 dollars each.

Partially correct. Briggs is discontinuing the sale of Simplicity and Snapper tractors in the USA and some Simplicity Zero Turns in the USA.

Simplicity actually purchased Ferris in 1999, then B&S bought them both in either 2002, or 2004

Simplicity is a very old brand. My old Alice Chalmers B1? From the 60s is made by Simplicity.

Just read that Briggs is discontinuing all Simplicity and Snapper mowers and zero turns due to slow economy... this is a sad day. Those brands have been around almost forever. 😢

Agree. Very disappointing. The issue is that most people don't want to shop at a mower store anymore. Most people want to go to Lowes, Home Depot, Menards to buy a mower, then throw it away when it stops working.

yep, so they can make the same thing overpriced with the Stihl badge on it.. I love Stihl... 2-cycle stuff.. But what a mistake on getting into rider stuff.. same with pressure washers and stuff like that.. Stick with what you are good at.
