Thanks for doing this revue. I was going to get this planner but I must be the only one who is not enamored with it. For the price of it & the quality of the covers etc I would be better off having a planner of choice & adding in a few pictures of vintage sewing patterns. What a shame. Still its saved me a huge amount of money as I would have to pay shipping to the UK as I have not found it here yet.Such a shame to only have one year of diary in it.

I don't NEED another planner, but I really WANT this one! I'm not a fan of horizontal spreads either, but I LOVE the Monday start monthly and that its undated!

Thanks for sharing..I ordered one today and ask my seamstress to measure me fully. I am starting making my own vintage dress and gowns. I am very glad I saw your video because I really need to keep a record of my measurements, sewing projects and photos of the items I made. I am so very excited and waiting for my sewing planner. great video

OMG!!! I saw this on Sew to Fit's channel first, but then you gave the tip about finding it at Hobby Lobby. I picked up the phone immediately after getting discourages from seeing it was backordered on Simplicity's website. My Hobby Lobby had it, and held it for me. Just got home with my gem. I've been looking for something like this because I don't have room in my everyday planner for my sewing and craft plans.

I found this planner at Hobby lobby with 40 % coupon and it is beautiful, plus you can use inserts and the accessories from the MAMBI 365 Happy Planner and their snap on covers fit perfect.

Lucy That's just what I was wondering at the end of the video. Maybe Simplicity intended this planner to be inserted into another planner cover. Those rings holding it together look temporary to me. In fact the whole book just looks like it's missing it's cover!

Hi! No I never did laminate the cover. Its fine the way it is :) the cover isn't thick but actually "too thick" to laminate...it would leave a gap around the edges.

i have my recipes in sheet protectors in a 3 ring binder. Nothing exciting...lol BUT it is a cute binder :) I'd love to get into making recipe cards. Type the recipes out on a typewriter.

I had to purchase this book which I love using it. It is very detail and really helpful. I purchased mine at Simplicity.com I hope Simplicity make the refills for 2019 since it is un dated.

For myself - a REAL sewer - I find no use at all for something like this. In my opinion, it is a cheap moneymaker for someone who has decided that they can over-charge for 50's and 60's inspired illustrations of pattern envelope illustrations. Come on! There is absolutely NOTHING about that "planner" that has to do with drafting patterns, sewing garments, etc. The price is ridiculous - even at 40% off. You could have gone to a Goodwill and bought vintage sewing patterns with the original ethnic illustrations and made your own "planner" for about two bucks. Sad what these corporations do. Hobby Lobby, Jo-Ann's, Michaels are all tied with the same corporate money band.
