These patterns are all adorable., but they’re not for ladies 60 and Over what about us? We can’t wear these new patterns. We need some different kind of patterns not the young girls because I still like to sew so let’s try to get some different patterns for older ladies. Nice pants suit nice dress I’m not trying to be difficult, but I don’t wanna wear something like off my shoulders.

I agree a lot of minis and not really cut for the older, fuller figure. I think some could be adapted but the only one I might buy is the Vintage pattern 8569. I like the below knee length and the collar's really pretty

True, so our demographic belongs to Butterick. ; ) McCall's has been shifting to the younger set for a few years now, sticking with young models and intro of indie designers like Mimi G & KnowMe lines. The better plan for us with figure variations is to settle on TNT bases and then update with smaller details, a bit of pattern manipulation or through fabric choices. Sometimes you really don't need to reinvent the wheel.

I agree. I'm 50 and feel most of the newer patterns from the Big 4 are too revealing. I wouldn't wear some of these newer styles even if I was in my 20's. I'd love to see some high end, classic sophisticated styles.

@@Freepeter-ui2vf Try Vogue patterns. They tend to be more modest, sophisticated, and in many cases more mature.
