I agree with the idea that spoons should be plain and without design. I told by family, but they never listen. The design has so much dirt. There are also spoons that have a grove behind the head which holds so much of dirt that its disgusting to use them. Some hotels have these spoons and whenever I eat, I look behind the spoons and only pick ones that are clean even in the grove or bend. These spoons also have edges that are too sharp, if you eat something from the spoon and try to close your lips around them and lick out clean, it will cut the edges of your lips. These type of spoons should also be avoided. The spoon edges should be thick and should not cut into lips edges or tongue. You are giving so much of information, I love your ideas.

I use stainless steel masala dabba since 1982 ,I find it very useful ,easy to clean& use , no cracking of dabba ,lid ,small container ! air tight plastic dabba is very difficult to open when you are hurry while making Tadka, I don't prefer plastic for eatable items
