I dunno how you do it Tony, working as a fireman and getting all that gardening done, as well as the wealth of work that it takes to film, edit and put out your videos. It really is amazing. I’ve learned so much from you. I’m glad that the well-being garden is on its feet, remember that the very essence of well-being is being kind to yourself and not putting too much pressure on yourself to get things done. You’re a busy bloke and we understand, these things take time as the best things do. Take it easy tho, we don’t want to see you unwell in the well-being garden!

Stuff.... Organizing Stuff.... it's never ending. Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle. Reusing Stuff, you already have, and turning into a place of Beauty, Relaxation, Reflection, Purpose, and Pride........ "Priceless" I can't wait to see those Daffodil's and Tulip's you planted sprout. They're the 1st indicator, every year, that brighter warmer days are coming, leaving the bleakness of Winter behind, and yet another season of production is upon us. Great Job Tony, TYFS

Nice one Tony, a great undertaking, having somewhere nice to sit and take a break is so important. I have a similar thing outside my polytunnel with a pond and flower beds, and even those two small areas are massively uplifting. It's going to be a great boon for you moving forward...Steve...😃

Tony you should get a hanging on frame swing seat for two it would be perfect in your patio, to go with the tub seats, so relaxing, my parents bought one in Changi for me (well I thought it was mine always referred to as so) as a 5-6 year old, it travelled everywhere with us and as a teen and especially in my 20’s I spent many hours after work as a nurse unwinding on that seat plus courting, it was wooden slats nice curve to the back so very comfy no cushions needed. My Mam painted it regularly and just before she died in her late 80s on my last visit home it was still going strong. How I wish I’d taken it and shipped it to Aus but I didn’t and don’t know what happened to it. Your patio well being garden will be so wonderful now finished or just about, as your children grow a lovely place to come for a natter to. Well done Tony, you have such a busy life, thanks for taking time to share things with me and others. Hopefully your next year will be better weather cause we’re heading over again yippee borders opening up.

The patio looks fine to me because it offers the flexibility of slabs being removed or moved to add more natural planting areas/pond later on. Garden design isn't as straight forward as many of us believe and keeping things flexible helps.

Hey Tony it looks great! You put in a lot of work. Have you thought about staining the slabs a nice color?? Could really add to what what you've got going and brighten it up a bit and it's not expensive either. We stained our patio slab a nice brown and it made all the difference in the world. They have blues and greens and all kinds of cool colors that would add to the "wellness" theme. Great job Tony, and thanks for the videos and all the ideas you give us.

Hi Tony it looks great. If anything the fact that you also took longer than planned with your garden is a bit of a relief that its not just me. I felt a bit of a failure when I missed the planting season for getting my raised beds finished. The fact was between my health and the weather it was a real struggle. I'm still planning on finishing it but probably on a smaller scale than initially planned. We did grow a load of Potatoes in containers though and are eating our way through those. Have been since August lol. So I'm choosing to look at the win rather than the losses of all my lovely tomatoes cucumbers and beans ect plants that never ended up being planted on as my beds weren't finished. I have discovered that while KZbin might be magical and make making giant raised beds out of pallets look easy the reality is it takes a heck of a lot longer especially with our British weather. Well done on your garden it looks fab.

Great project….hopefully you will have time to use it!!!😉 We have 2 wisteria growing on the south facing back ground deck of our home which sports a roofed pergola much like what you’ve built. I’ve seen the plants in heavy bloom from pictures taken from previous owners, but in 3 seasons they’ve not bloomed for us. What they have done is send out their tendrils and vines and made a jungle out of that deck. Their roots have become very aggressive and are sending up more vines through our deck board. So…..knowing that you are a much more savvy gardener than I, I’m sure you have tricks up your sleeve to keep yours in control. Just the same, I thought I’d share our experience with you. If no blooms are forthcoming next season, we will be removing the plants.

Ok job Tony (seems like everyone leads off with an assessment , so i thought id do the same) i love the plantings of the bulbs …but …you could have done that in your grout seems … You call stuff rubbish,,, i would love to have your corrugated metal .. you dug up concrete ??!??!,? Only to replace it with more “ socially accepted concrete” , in that it is square ..12 x 12 Your wellbeing garden is ‘too contrived’ , while the rest of your stuff is functional, , raw, nurturing, purposeful…. I love me my pansies …(and under rated snap dragons). ….they are the cheerleaders of winter , spiriting me on I don’t feel well..and i’d like to suggest you do ‘t either Cheers
