I think I have never seen such a well and intuitively presented German lessons in KZbin so far! I wonder how come I didn't encounter this channel before!

Here's an example of an English sentence written in the German word order. Ive found this helpful for increasing my understanding of spoken German First in English- We have this plant in our garden, as you may have already seen in our first video from the summer, and now we'll show you what it looks like now and when you can pick the great bulbs out of the ground. In German word order- We have this plant in the garden how you maybe already in the first video from the summer with us experienced has, and now show we you current looks like and when you the great bulb from the earth pick up can Auf Deutsch- Wir haben diese Pflanze im Garten wie ihr vielleicht schon im ersten Video aus dem Sommer bei uns erfahren hat und jetzt zeigen wir euch aktuell aussieht und wann ihr die tollen Knollen aus der Erde holen könnt.

Thank you for this: it’s a really good exercise and quite a tricky one too since translation is a very specific skill. Well done. A couple of suggestions: make sure you can include all necessary pronouns (eg the ‚it‘ in the ‚show you what it looks like now‘; a ‚wie‘ to introduce the ‚what it looks like‘ clause; and maybe a slightly different word order in the first section - often in sentences with many elements to start the sentence with one of them (Diese Pflanze haben wir …; or ‚Im Garten haben wir …‘ and it’s good to separate clauses with commas. But otherwise this is great 👍🏼 😀

Yes, the last one was before the start of Semester 1 here at my University. It’s been a busy start to the year - I had to make some videos for other academics and then I caught COVID - there’s a new video coming very soon - just recorded it yesterday. Hoping to get back to a more regular schedule soon. Thanks for asking.
