Hello Jennifer! I just discovered you and your videos today--and I love them! I love your inspiring messages and your passion for loving your best life and pursuing your dreams! I would like to offer one suggestion: could you please talk a little slower? In some (definitely not all!😘) of your videos, I feel myself getting stressed. As positive as the messages are, the pace is a lot for my nervous system. So, if it resonates with you, would you please consider speaking a little more slowly? I would find it most calming. Thank you so much! And I send you much love and blessings! You’re doing such a wonderful service for humanity! And I love your sharings about Sweden, nature, simplicity and, most important, loving our Creator and all mankind. ❤️🙏🏼🥰

I'm binge watching your videos this morning in Washington State (USA). I feel like I've found a soul sister. I just sub'd from my watercolor channel. :-) Like you, I visited Israel recently and was deeply impacted. Like you, I'm seeking His sabbath rest. I find His rest as I paint. :-) Your insights have been helpful to me. I will watch more.

Thanks so much for subscribing Kris! I often find rest and restoration when I am creative, which for me often involves writing

Incredible video! So much goodness and truth here and so many things to think about. I love how you spoke about climbing a mountain and looking back... that slow tough progress... fab analogy - it’s tough but it’s worth it x

I really DO NOT enjoy being busy....I love having LOTS of time, especially for myself to reflect and being with my loved ones...That is actually the only important thing in my life....Everything else I do is just because our society is built in a way that forces you to do certain things to survive...( eat, sleep, keep warm e.t.c).

It’s important to share real faith in Jesus His Kingdom and ways in His kingdom, it’s important to live in the faith.

Thanks for that, I especially like the digital detox, so nicely put and very much needed. I heard someone say that even before dinner there should be a basket where all the phones go until after the meal. As kids it wasn't allowed to answer the phone I have taken the fb app off my phone, I can only access it on the computer and it is amazing how many times I "reach out" for it and it's not there and then I realize I can do something better.

Yes, it’s hard when we discover how much we are addicted to our phones, isn’t it? I like the idea of taking FB off your phone, I might try that one!

Martha and Mary comes to mind ... Jesus did not judge Martha but gently reminded her the right way ...Blessings

Indeed, but the world seems to applaud and reward the Martha’s - not surprising we find it all rather confusing.

Yes you are right! We are the tabernacle for the Holy Spirit! Shouldn’t we take care of the tabernacle? 💜

I really enjoyed this video. What you share is so genuine and uplifting. You did not speak of the importance of communing with nature, taking time to notice all the little gifts of beauty that God gives us. I live on a dairy farm and on my days off from work I herd the cows from a smaller pasture to a larger one. When I arrived at the larger pasture and I can look all the way around at a sea of green I feel very small, but at the same time I fell God's presence at its strongest. On my free days I tend to cook dishes that take longer time, more effort and more attention to detail. I find the whole process very relaxing as well.

I am so glad you enjoyed it Francisco. You are totally right, communing with nature is one of the things I enjoy most about being in Sweden. Love the sense of perspective, when you find yourself as a small dot in a large landscape, can help restore balance. It’s also great to have a time to switch off, and disconnect from the demands of social media, and create time to hear that still small voice

@@JenniferCarterWriter I have enjoyed the videos that i've seen so far. Your faith, gratitude and good spirits are uplifting and contagious. Thanks for that. I have enjoyed very much your home in Sweden with its fireplace, wood stove, and so on. The land surrounding it is very welcoming and calming. Enjoy every bit of beauty and joy that Gos gives you and continue sharing.

I am over here from the Brian G. Johnson Facebook page. I really love your channel. I think we are of similar age though I have some grown children and most still in the home. I have 7 children total. I love the encouragement of thinking 5 years ahead and how I want to be. I'll be 60 in 5 years. I am a new sub. I am so happy for you that you got that burst from KZbin! 💐

Home cooking click bait? Not what I would expect from you.
@JenniferCarterWriter3 жыл бұрын
It wasn’t meant to be clickbait Paul. I was thinking how helpful it had been to me to discover the benefit of taking a rest, and thought it might be a useful tool for anyone dealing with the stress of another lockdown (as we are in the UK). On reflection, perhaps I should have shared this instead - kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6HHgHlmbJd8bJo - which explains the relevance of the meal

@@JenniferCarterWriter You're wonderful person Jennifer - it's why I enjoy your channel. Well, that and the typically wonderful content. It's just that if the thumbnail portrays a meal it whets my appetite in anticipation of seeing that meal produced. I don't think that's unreasonable. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend! :)
