How incredibly cool. I think it's really awesome improvement. I also this it's really great you're dad is really into aquariums as well!

It definitely saves time and hassle for setting it up and making one. His love of aquariums is what got me started with aquariums! So I am very thankful for that. My wife on the other hand, I don’t know how she feels about it lol 😂

@@TheAquariumLibrary growing up my parents liked the aquarium when I was doing all maintenance but when I moved out they told me to just the tanks with me.

Hahaha. My dad definitely liked having me home because I took care of all the tanks and enjoyed the maintenance aspect of it. I’ll get all of his tanks one day when he no longer wants them.

Add cherry shrimp to the breeder box with the eggs. They will eat all the bad fungus eggs and keep the good other eggs clean. CPD are also first light breeders so you can simulate this to get a few spawns per day.

I have added snails to the collection area before with little success. Never thought about adding shrimp though. I do like your idea of simulating multiple sunrises a day. How much darkness time do they need to get “reset”.

@@TheAquariumLibrary i think an hour of complete darkness should be enough to put them to sleep.

@@FatherFH I’ll have to try that out. Thank you.

Thank you. For now I think this will be its final form. I don’t see much other ways to make it easier to build and set up.
