There are more things to do in Sarasota Florida than we had time. We could have stayed on the west side of Florida for the entire winter and really wish we had to stay in Clearwater Beach too. With Carson flying home from spring break and Season 10 starting right around the corning, we have to keep moving, but saving some for later has always been a KYD approach. In this episode, we took our stand-up paddleboards to Turtle Beach to have some fun in the water and got some great seafood from Big Water Seafood on our way home. We installed Snap Pads on the Airstream, which is a new product for Snap Pads and met-up with KYD Insiders for a Tailgate at the Sarasota Polo Field. Omg 😱 I was at my Alamo Heights Rotary happy hour last night and they all know how stoked I am for RVlife as I begin my adventures. I met a fellow Rotarian named Andrew who told me he’d bought an airstream in 2019 just like yours. I quickly exclaimed “ Do you know KYD ?!!!?!!!? “ he does !!!! Yay !!!! My first KYD connection!!!! we live in Florida at a place called The Villages, if you ever have a chance you should visit there's a ton of stuff to do here and it's amazing just to see it, we have almost 50 golf courses, we also have polo fields which operate in the spring and fall. if you ever have a chance you must visit the barnum and bailey circus musuem in sarasota.

Another great video! My daughter, her husband, and my 2 granddaughters live in Sarasota. I usually stay at Mayakka River State Park when I visit her. While in Sarasota did you by any chance visit Marie Selby Botanical Gardens? My daughter was married there. Also, Mote aquarium is another cool spot to visit. I agree with you to avoid Siesta Key Beach if you want something less crowded and a place to park! And the Crab and Fin restaurant on St. Armand circle is a great spot for seafood.

Suggestion for the stability feet. Place a piece of 2x4 under half of the foot and use a hammer to tap or adjustable wrench closed to bend the foot flat. Or, place the wood in the center and pry both sides down at the same time. By the the way Eileen and I have friends in Bradenton and we have been to Leto beach several times. Parking can be a problem. But is some of the best sand anywhere.

If you put the stabilizer down so that it just touches the ground and get a hammer and bang the thin baseplate flat it should correct the bent plate

Love your videos. In regard to the snap pads, what if you drilled a hole towards the top edge of the pad above the surface of the metal foot. Then installed a 1/4" stainless steel bolt all the way across to the other side of the pad. Do that for the front and back if the pad. I think the pad would stay secured no problem. Just a thought.

At Crystal River definitely check out Famous Bird's Underwater Manatee Dive Center. My wife and I made the trip there in January, swimming with manatees is an experience you will never forget.

The park with the canopy walk is Myakka River State Park, my favorite for camping, especially of I can get in the Palmetto Ridge area with full hookup.

Just a little further south of Nokomis is the best town in Sarasota county VENICE!!🎉🎉🥳. But those places you mentioned are pretty sweet too. Selby,st Armand circle,, siesta,myaka state park !! I’ve just seen the advertisement for polo the last time I was on 75.

I live in Sarasota County. Siesta Key Beach is the best. Venice Beach/Caspersons if you want Shark's teeth Venice is the "sharks tooth capital of the world." Myakka River State Park for the canopy walk and Oscar Scherer State Park for birding :-)

An easy way to straighten out your feet is to place the feet (pads removed of course) upside down in a press. Put a flat plate on top and apply pressure. A small 20 ton press will flatten them out in no time. Then you can put your rubber pads back on. Any small mechanic shop will have a press. Be less expensive than buying new feet.

I really wanted those jack pads until I saw the price! Holy cow! Other words could you guys tell us how you find rest stops or dump stations if the parks your at don't provide them. If they are just one bolt, one afternoon while the rig is hooked up, take all four feet off put them between two pieces of wood and straighten them with a dead blow hammer.

You just need the right tools. Those feet could be easily straightened while on the rig with a big jaw pipe wrench, or 24" crescent wrench. Optionally a simply C clamp could help you snap the rubber pad onto the bent feet, but straightening the feet is the right way to do it. Why don't they make RV legs with the feet stabilizers already on them? That's 1 reason I like the Renegade RV'S. Their RV legs have a very wide and burly foot.
