During periods I get severe Migraine and Heavy Bleeding - Few things that have made my period time bit better is a Menstrual Cup and the Sirona Pain relief patch (for tummy and back)(stopped taking Mefthal Spas tablet s) and got showers and ginger tea really helps. As I am single Mom, I have no family support or anyone.. So I have to do things all by myself for myself and my son..

Most videos on social media tend to think that chopping is time-consuming or cumbersome and thus suggest tools to make chopping easier. In reality, that tool is one more thing to wash. It's not the ergonomics of the kitchen or the chopping, or the act of actually cooking which is tough, it is the cleaning after. It is always the cleaning after.

I am a working woman (night shifts) have a school going young son (7year old) and I am single Mom. It really gets very hectic because I have no night sleep, I make breakfast and pack the same for my son, drop him to school by 8am and then return home, take my thyroid med, take shower and make hot breakfast for self (rotis or dosas) and relish it while watching some fav webseries and then take a nap (9.30am-12.30pm) then get up and make lunch and go to pick my son from school (1.30pm) and I serve him food (he eats by himself) And then we rest for sometime (I doze off) or he plays (self entertaining or engaging) I wake up at 4PM, go to park and then come and take after play shower, sit with him and his books while managing my WFH (5.30pm shift) and then give him some snacks or milk.. We eat the same menu as for lunch (no double cooking as it's just two of us) .. In all this I have taught my son to take shower and brush by himself, dress up by himself and he is very creative so sits for hrs creating and building his own toys (ofcourse I am there for him when he wants to play or assist him) but he doesn't disturb me when I am asleep.. I feel blessed that my son, who is so young is very manageable and understanding and loving. ( I took career break for 6years to spend time and be there in his growing years and it was the best decision I made)
