😚I forgot to say in the video... that I just hand rinse in the sink and do like adding a bit of Unicorn Beyond Soft to the rinse water to really get my wool soft and healthy.

Would you be able to use any soap to emulsify it? Do you need to buy cubes?

Hi Stephanie, I'm new to wool and just bought the bumby abrazo, the emulsion cubes and the solid lanolin and going try my first ever lanolising. You mentioned rinsing out the emulsion soap after the lanolising process. I didn't get the Unicorn beyond soft detergent (only bought beyond clean) so I would like to ask if it's ok to just use warm water to rinse or there are other options that can also rinse out the emulsion soap? Thank you!

Hi, just use cool water actually. We want to keep that wax in there and get the soap out. I like using beyond soft, but you don't have to.

When do you add the Unicorn Baby Fabric Soft to the wool after lanolzing? Do you wait for it to dry? Or just for a quick rinse in the sink before drying? Thanks

Hi, I am recommending that people rinse their lanolized wool as the last step of the process to remove the emulsion soap. If the wool is cool, and the water is cool, the lanolin won't want to come out. so doing a hand rinse in the sink, then doing a little basin with beyond soft, swish, then stick on the washer for a spin. Or even hand rinse, then do a rinse and spin in the machine with the beyond soft.

Is the water room temperature when you put the wool in? Is that less then a table spoon of lanolin?

Hi, I am very sorry this just came up. I use room temp water yes. That is less than a tablespoon, but you can adjust as you need depending on the amount of wool you are lanolizing as well as how much you want on the garments
