I first heard this recently at a bed and breakfast, in an antique Inn, in Maine, while sitting in the breakfast porch . It was enchanting romantic and so soothing! It gave you a feeling of timelessness and almost being in a dream! I understand your feeling being something you can't even describe! This talent, being a gift from God, is the most beautiful music I've heard, this side of Heaven! Thank you Michael!

Mr Dulin…I can’t find words to describe the emotions that rise within whenever I hear Satie, and particularly this arrangement. I wonder what his (Satie) thoughts where when this piece was being created; did he have any idea of the large number of listeners this piece would draw?🌹

Hello, thanks for the comment! I think Debussy helped the piece become popular later on in Satie's life, so he had some idea how well-received it was!
