I'm really glad that the legend SPB pays his tribute to evergreen Music Director Mr. V. Kumar. There are many lovely songs in V. Kumar Sir's composition that stand the test of time. One of my most favourite songs is Ponnai naan parthathillai from the movie Kannamoochi (1978). When I listened to this song, the melody was stuck in my mind for several weeks.

Sir -V.Kumar is one of my Fav composers and your collaboration with him gave us so many unforgettable songs. I like to highlight few more wonderful songs of your collaboration with VK - 1. Idhu Naan Ariyadha Mayakkam ( with PS - Naan Andu Sindhiya Ratham), 2. Padaithane Bramadevan ( Ellorum Nallavare), Valvil Sowbagiyam Vandhadhu ( with PS - Thoondil Meen), Oru parvai Parkum Pothu ( Nangooram), Unnai thota katru vandhu ( Nanal), Ponnai Naan Parthaillai ( Kannamotchii) and I can go on and on. Agree with you that he did not get the deserved recognition and lack of opportunities to work with MGR ( zero ) and SIvaji ( only one) did not help either.
