The song (the song under the music direction of Ghantasala gaaru) Balu gaaru was referring to is "selayETi galagalaa" from Tulasi movie (1974). He personally mentioned it to me back in 2010 when I asked if this was really done by Ghantasala himself or not (as the song sounds like Ramesh Naidu gaari song). He confirmed that it was composed by Maastaar gaaru.

Ghantasala recorded songs only after coming to Madras,thanks to Peketi. Earlier to it ,he was singing songs, poems,etc,orally only,like any other budding singer. Later on,he went on to record various patriotic songs, like 'aa mogal rana dheerulu,swaatanthrame maa janma hakkanee,etc. The first song SPB sung with Ghantasala was "ennaallo vechina vudayam" in Manchi Mithrulu,which came in the first few weeks of 1969. Eka veera was released in the last few weeks of 1969, which works out to almost a year's gap. Pamarti died a few months before Ghantasala's death and so the Asst. music director for Tulasi could be JVRaghavulu. Sri SPB may check the facts and carry out necessary corrections,if possible/necessary....nbrk

He didi not get his due recognition..Even SPB was honoured with Padmabhushan on d recommendation of Tamilnadu govt. RIP Telugu states. They never honour real Talent.
