About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.
Disclaimer: The information presented in these videos is not meant to diagnose or treat any psychiatric or medical illness. The inquiries presented herein are potent and can have powerful effects on the way you experience yourself and reality. If you feel you are at risk of harming yourself or others, these videos and practices may not be the best thing for you at the moment. Seek help wherever necessary which might include a hospital emergency department, a suicide helpline etc.

Nice to hear Matt's reference to Scott Kiloby work, so easy to miss this crucial peice with many of the nondual teachings! Angelo doesn't neglect it but often TRE release is too harsh and doesn't effectively release anything from compex PTSD, I am not saying it doesn't work for some PTSD because I recognize it has for many. Often if you have a high ACE score and multiple layers of trauma and repressed emotions you can miss it for years. And/Or need multiple other modalities incorporated into spiritual practice. Ie shadow work and Ken Wilbur etc etc...I'm no expert but I think Angelo is one of the best out there recently and doesn't bypass❤

Hi there, I was curious your experience w/ Kiloby's work. His membership paywall, three tiered "dimensions", checkmarked facilitators, etc felt funny to me, but his focus on repressed material seems really intriguing. Are you a member of his site? Or have you used his methods independently? How has that worked for you? Thanks in advance!!!

Interesting mention in the comments of Scott Kiloby - his name rang a bell! My daughter was halfway thru his Practitioner Training when he doubled tuition for his current students… she quit due to the only reason they gave is that they need more money, and this is just her resistance to “what is”, etc. Big lack of integrity in the Shadows of the KI… now, this may stir some resistance to “what is”, but it is, what is…

It’s like an immersive movie experience where one finds itself as a character in a story and proceeds to discover the invisible power behind it all and then integrating/reconciling that whole mind maze 🤯 into what ever is present for the character enveloped in the invisible ‘thing’ . Someone pass the popcorn please 🍿😅🤍

Matt's stuff on cause and effect is very good.....want more of that........he speaks so fast .....he should listen to the way Rupert Spira speaks to get a better sense of pacing/timing, so we mortals can keep up..... or perhaps Matt can write a book ...... organize all his ideas.

Hello Matt!. When you said, "what if I feel this emotion as if I didn't have a body," that really resonated. Gave it a try for some stuck energy that has been appearing recently, and it helped a lot. That said, I think this process has potential to be tricky. If I had attempted the same process 6+ months ago, prior to the shadow work, K.I. work, etc., I may have used this technique in a way that could have been more of a bypass than actually processing & releasing the energy. But I suppose that would have been just fine too, in the long run. Be well, brother!💚

Your response to the very first lady to ask a question on this video landed so accurately with me. It was about experiencing the unconditioned, and simply sitting in the neutral space of unbound consciousness. Fortunately, I think I’ve found my phrase. I sit and remind myself, “watch your attention.” and I immediately attune to the sense of noticing the spontaneity of thought, where it feels less split..and following attention around, letting it move naturally around what physically feels like a vast, yet still slightly confined space in my mind. It’s very interesting. That space feels like it’s widening a bit as each day goes by. It has become that simple for me, but I struggle in this space. You describe it as peaceful and enjoyable, and I’m definitely getting a taste of that..but a there’s also times when I am resting in this silence and thoughts are still in the background, and there’s a lot of restlessness that comes up. I’m aware that I have the capacity to sit with this, and I try to give it more time, each time I sit. But then I just jolt out of my meditation sometimes bc of the intensity of the restlessness. This space feels elusive, and that frustrates me…a lot is falling away though, each day that goes by, something becomes less sticky. And also, Angelo, thank you so much for sharing this content and for hosting the recent retreat. Since coming across your work, I’ve experienced more transformation in a few short months than I have over 3-4 years of the traditional yogic path. I’m wondering if you’ll consider speaking more about fighting this process, and what that might look like? I still struggle with buying into/ placing dependency on illusion…it’s becoming so obvious that what I think will satisfy me, always ends up disappointing. But I try to squeeze something out of it. I know deep down it’s empty, but still I return to these fixations and squeeze them so hard, trying to get something out of them…😭 I struggle with striving for this but meeting it with an opposing agenda. You’ve spoken on this before, the frustration of not knowing at all what this is leading to, and having truly no clue what you’re looking for, but it has become your whole life. Wanting it to be the most important thing, and it is. And although that is very simple, it feels like the most slippery thing in the world. Becoming alert to every self-reflection, although it still occurs at deep levels. And I still hesitate constantly with stepping over that edge. Lol, I’m so sorry for the mighty long comment. 😆🧐 just a lot that’s been surfacing lately. And trying to become your own saving grace most slippery thing. Thank you Angelo, my gratitude is beyond what I can express in words. Truly a blessing to have you two available to us, in such an intimate way. This content and your book are literally walking us step by step to the edge. And also you, Matt. You are very clearly showing us how we have the key to our own freedom, and that is the most wonderful thing. 💡🌞🔑🖤

I found the analogy about taking the piranha (emotion or feeling) out the water and looking at it a life changer.. some people don’t often deal with repression (me) before trying to enlighten making things more complicated. So this was a wonderful pointer for me to accept my massive fearful repression and view it in a open manner - thanks guys

I hear the inferiority/superiority bit as if through a megaphone. Same thing, really. I've been acutely aware of the heaviness or nauseousness of these feelings or judgements lately in the day-to-day, and I don't push them away but just sort of sit with them. I saw a sign on the roadside that said "Thank you for driving with equanimity." Had to laugh. That's awesome.

I wondered if "derealization/dissociation" also has to do with the idea of being separate. It always seemed like the feeling of separation was an effect of the arising of derealization, but now I am feeling that the illusion of separation creates such a tension that derealization might be the effect. In a previous video you mentioned that you can welcome emotions by saying: "You have the right to be here". So when derealization arises, I welcome it instead of trying to get rid of it, and try to connect and feel its texture. When it is held closer, the derealization feels helpless, lonely, separated, sad, frightening, oppressive. It is as if the derealization and the separate self have the same qualities. It also reminds me of the feeling I had as a child about living on this big rock, as Matt also called it. How unreal that seemed to me. And how strange it felt to be a separate "me" and how much effort it took to keep "me" together. In a way I always run into the feeling of derealization and it scares me. At the same time it feels like the place where "the money is". I am curious about your view on this and how I could unravel this. PS. Thank you so much for this beautiful Double Barrel Matt and Angelo, I am moved and delighted by your sharings and insight! ♡

The second guy before the end, well basically has to learn to express his anger., Hes aware of it but cant let it out probably because its expression wasnt allowed or ridiculed in childhood. He has a brilliant self awareness of how the unexpressed anger then redicrets towards himseof in the form of shame. So the key is to learn to express it which becomes easier once some of the pend up charge is released which could be done via body based approaches like shadowboxing while shouting "no" with each punch etc... Bioenergetics has great exercises to release anger too. Once were more comfortable with our own anger and released some in that way we can own it more and then also express it. Not by explodimg all over the next person who triggers us but simply by stating "what you just said makes me angry". I wasnt in contact at all with my own inner rage and anger it was literally split off but implementing the above steps plus lots of additional somatic release also around anger and hate helped me a lot integrating it and being able to express it without losing the plot. Great video, God bless🙏🙏

"The story is a rationalisation of the sensation" I love that. Is every story a rationalisation? Is me asking that question resistance? What if the story was obviously true relatively speaking , like it would definitely stand up in court? Does it ever help to stay with entertain a story or do we always drop it and orient to sensation?

I'd recommend starving the sensation of any reason as to why it's there. The mind is addicted to needing stories, but without them the sensations are purely neutral (although sometimes intense) but simply raw energy waiting to be felt

I've recently came across Simply Always Awake and wonder how or if it is possible to join the zoom calls. I'm beginning to listen to Awake, it's your turn on Audible. I live in Israel and even though I am a member of a non dual group in Portugal, Non Dual Tantra Shaivism. Long and the short, it's not essential to extensively study Classical Tantra's intriguing philosophy and quite intellectual to awaken. I feel drawn to know more about this group and perhaps even move closer to awakening, without a "doctrine" philosophy.
