I'm seeing no distance/dimension often and predictably (not always/everywhere), especially with water involved, like by a river. It's just like Kevin Shanilec said in one of your fetter videos: not totally flat. Subtle, not surprising, yet obvious, beautiful. I think inquiry is still useful here!!

I’ve slipped into the vortex of the universe and created my reality, which is having a home that’s my sanctuary. Surrounded my self with pretty things in a pleasant environment with friends to call on. After loosing everything a few years ago I know how fleeting all these things are. Humans have the ability to come back from adversity and heartbreak, keep going no mater what and still we can die to everything every moment and be free

I was at the Bistro yesterday, enjoying a fantastic steak, and the place was bustling. Then a thought occurred to me about Eckhart Tolle's idea of being present to the space in which 'things' occur rather than focusing solely on the content itself. It suddenly clicked, and though difficult to articulate, it felt like a dance of forms rather than individual entities asserting themselves. The energy of the room, the interactions between the form of "people", the flow of service... It all seemed to move with a harmonious rhythm, as an harmonious rhythm in that space which never changes but is the foundation of all. For a moment there was no watcher, only this! It was only a glimpse, vanishing too soon, and I couldn't help but wonder: How can such a profound vision of simplicity, unveiled and pristine, be replaced so quickly by the "old seeing"? Beautiful video!

Labeling happens so fast it's really hard not to label things. It's like an automatic response when I look out into the world
@renko906726 минут бұрын
Yes. It's why I think inquiry is so good at all levels: it eventually breaks that selfing/labeling mechanism. 😊

Angelo does a great job at stilling the sense that this way of life is a real possiblity. Sometimes I go back to being a person, but being reminded that I don't need to is really reassuring.

I feel you are more on the cautious side than the blissful side, and perhaps a bit heavy on tbe intellectual approach. But also I have relished your nuanced detail. And sense of fun. Gratitude for all your work.

There is a sense of being able to sort of disconnect from thoughts while fully aware of the senses. There is no labeling, no sense of a subject relating to objects, and no sense of knowing anything. It's kind of similar to what I call being "spaced out", but at the same time not the same because focus is not "gone" in thought, but rather fully aware of no thing with "focus" being relaxed and open, if that makes any sense. 😅😅 I can still do stuff, but that would sort of be secondary. Is this what you are talking about when you say engaging the unknown?

I call it the stateless state. You know when you reach it because it's so different to everything you would normally call a state. It's in fact the exact absence of state.

I find myself trying not to try in natural meditation. Realising that too is apart of it. Whatever arises, is seen, not seen is fine. Mind is tricky trying to direct attention, find something etc.

It takes some chutzpah just to allow and to so openly reply to comments in the first place, so you get a pat on the back there. I (for One) am very grateful that you make yourself so openly available throughout this massive body of video work. It's all here - anyone at all in You Tube Land has the opportunity to interact with you. Yeah - you see, technically-speaking "Chutzpah" is an energy form in spiritual teachings from East New York and Brooklyn and places like this where all human speech must be shouted to be heard over the sound of elevated subways and the sort of thing...

Damn thank you for linking Eriks Video… I abandoned self inquiry because I wasn’t getting an answer, but then when watching Eriks Video he said something like „there is only the question“ I didn’t even consider that, lol I keep and keep intellectualizing, swimming through an endless sea of concept but, even though I don’t fully feel into what awakening is, I got a sense of what you meant when you said that nothing of this is conceptual after watching Eriks Video Much love ❤

Hi Angelo, it was very responsible talking about possible “negative side effects” we may experience during this process. When I practiced some Kundalini I do harm to myself and the sudden powerful energy coming up my spine nearly broke my neck. It scared the crap out of me and I immediately stopped. But I had a very ignorant teacher … me lol

Very reassuring, thank you. I’ve found I need far less sleep and barely dream, so now I just meditate/study late into night and it’s fine. I seem to get hip pain when I haven’t done TRE for a few days, and doing hip opening exercise eases it straightaway. Agree with guidance re kundalini- in WMT we are warned not to raise it prematurely. I have a random theory it’s supposed to raise naturally at midlife, ie menopause for women
