I would say hold off on the Dior pallet. You don’t know what Patrick Ta will be bringing out and he is your favorite. As for me, no to that jelly blush, and the Summer Friday, or the Haus Lab lip oil. I am not a lip oil person. I have the Chanel Water Fresh tint. I love it and have this in medium. My sister has the Winter blush in that rose color and it is beautiful.

I've just bought the new ABH eyebrow gel (the mini version) and I really like it. It's the best one out of what I've tried (and I've tried quite a few). Can highly reccomend. It hold the hairs strongly throughout the day.

Congrats on a successful no buy month! Even if it's not something you intend to do long term, it must feel nice just to know you can exercise the control and do it if you want to. For the Chanel Eau De Teint, I think you should consider light medium, just based on your Natasha Denona concealer choices. I wear the same shades in ND and Chanel Eau De Teint in light was too light and too pink, it seems to run lighter than their other foundations. Especially since the Chanel looks so nice in summer, I think you'll love to have a shade that doesn't run too light.

Hi Blair! I’d be interested in seeing you try the white haus labs shade - it’s such a good formula I would be interested in trying it, and it seems so much more practical to use that instead of having multiple shades. I haven’t been very interested in anything new, but I did order the Ciele skin tint when it finally came back in stock. I also got one of the new milk blushes because it seems like they are really long wearing.

I heard the Kosas BB pills bad . They have a GWP of the LM serum concealer right now if u want to try a sample to get the feel of it . O girl i have a crazy wish list for sure !! I have never been successful on a no buy if its not makeup its skincare but this past year its been makeup in fact infact i went crazy with lux beauty not even Sephora, i think i bought 1 thing from Sephora this month and it was yesterday the new TF quad and everything else was brand sites or Nordstrom. O no i did buy the Givenachy liquid highlighter too this so 2 things and i bought them with a gift card . So technically its 1 thing in January and 1 thing in Feb from Sephora. I have been so into Chanel and Clea De Peau .

This was fun! Discipline is so necessary. I’m not on a no buy but.. I am on a low buy. Over also just being more conscious. I’ve purchased a couple things this year 6 things total. I do have a couple things on my list. I trigger are new releases. So excited for Dior and YSL beauty! We will see. I love the items from Chanel beauty that I’ve tried thus far. Didn’t even notice you weren’t talking about new things in Jan (excluding the Huda color corrector)! I’m trying to use up what I have, and have committed to not buying anything new until I do. So I have quite the wishlist lol. I’m personally really interested in lip and cheek stains. Smashbox has one in Wisteria that looks like to actually works on both lips and cheeks. Also I just picked up the Chanel complexion tint (the one with more coverage) and am a little disappointed. It EMPHASIZES any dryness. Hoping I’ll enjoy it more in the summer.

You should go for the medium/light in the chanel (old) water tint. I feel like the light one will either be a bit too light for you or won’t have any tint and act like a primer. The medium/light will add just a bit of healthy color and glow and will be beautiful, you’ll see 😊

I haven’t purchased Chanel in a few years but their Tisse eyeshadow collection is lovely if you like the Chanel understated eyeshadow look. I’ve never tried any Laura Mercier complexion products because I’ve never been sure of a shade match but I love the blushes. They are silky and pigmented and they make some lovely shades.

I have the haus labs in white per makeup by Cheryl recommendation it’s beautiful and Blair you can use it to lighten the 160 shade you already have . I have the Fenty concealer and not close to ND IMO , the Prada foundation “ chefs kiss as Martina lily would say lol luv your videos and you look beautiful.

Oh - I will be interested to see what you think of Chanel. I started exploring last year and absolutely love their foundations. I would recommend swatching in a dept store and then buying on line. I love the Les Beiges eyeshadow palettes (medium is my favorite) as well as Tisse Rivoli and Tisse Essentiel. The only other thing I have is the Jersey blush (that I bought on Ulta) which I absolutely love. Hope you enjoy the exploration!

I caved in and bought a super expensive foundation by Cle De Peau (Beaute Radiant Fluid Foundation Radiant) because after receiving a tester from a store I couldn't find anything what I didn't like about it other than the ridiculous price. It looks amazing on the skin. Luckily I had some credit on Cult Beauty and I used a discount code too, so I've saved quite a lot, but it was still much more than I'd ever spent on a foundation. I've tried so many foundations to this end, I've lost count, but here I was surrendering to my temptation.. Blair, not trying to tempt you even further, but if you decide to try a new foundation in the future, I will be interested to hear your thoughts on this one ♥

Your are probably medium light on the Chanel tint. I had to go darker than I ever thought on mine. I actually got color matched at the boutique - thought I was medium but got medium dark. I love that tint. I actually just got two of the Les Beiges winter blushes. They are not too pigmented but I do love them. Also, Nikki La Rose influenced me to get the CoCo Rough lipstick in Adrienne- it is beautiful. It sells out all the time. They did have it in Ulta a couple months ago and I skipped it and when I went back, they did not have it. They might have it again - I got mine at Macy’s.

I’m loving the Chanel tint - former tints I’ve always been B30 but with this one I’m B20 [medium/light]- feels like you’ve applied a serum and looks divine. By far it feels the best of any complexion product I’ve tried and is truly the most aptly described as ‘your skin but better’ especially on my drier skin. As soon as I tried it all thoughts of possibly trying the cover girl vanished! I’m wearing it with the new fenty concealer (200c) and a tiny bit of huda cherry blossom.

I love this format! Great video. I very rarely buy eyeshadow pallets. Not worth my money. I’m saving to buy products from Merit, so I’m on a no buy extended time except for replacing mascara! Don’t bother with the CoverGirl. I’ve seen to many people say it’s not the same. There are a few who love the Chanel foundation version over the tint version . More coverage . I’m switching to buy less but buy quality and use up what I have. I rotate my weekly bag on Sundays to use up what I have. These days I am wearing way less foundation. Using concealer for light coverage just wear I need it.

Morgan Turner tried both Cover Girl and Chanel water fresh tint and she said that Chanel is much better. Everybody loves Prada foundation and it seems to be good for all skin types. You can buy the refill and save some money. I didn’t try this foundation because Prada makeup is not available in Australia and I don’t buy makeup online. I love Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation and so far I don’t have any intention to replace it. Same with my HO Dior Forever concealer. I have one shade for under eye and a different shade to use as a spot concealer. I tried other concealers before and they are all too dry. From luxury category Sisley Phyto Poudre Compact and their loose powder are very good for dry skin. Keep in mind that all the concealers/foundations etc. from “clean” beauty brands have a very short lifespan and a big collection with makeup products that go bad fast is not the best idea if you spend your money. If is a PR is a different story. 🙂 I am not a drugstore or “clean” beauty lover but I’m sure your subscribers are interested to see your reviews about the products you mentioned. I think we have fairly similar colouring and here’s a few thoughts (talking you out of some of the things :)): - Dior: that palette is, as the name suggests, for smokey looks. Personally, I’ve learned that a palette isn’t really for me unless it has some lighter (lid) shades. One that’s also mauve but lighter and overall super gorgeous: Clio Shade and Light in “Soft Depth” (it’s also more affordable but has nice packaging!) - Anything Anastasia: Norvina and co. are Putin supporters. I usually stay out of any “drama” but this is where I draw the line…

I got the prada foundation and it’s truly just lovely!!! BUT I think it’s very very very similar to the rose inc foundation (not the skin tint), I’ve even worn them side by side on my face a couple of times and I didn’t notice a difference even after a full days wear (14 hours), so if you’re trying to save a couple of dollars, I would say to just get the rose inc one! They both wear amazingly on my textured combo oily skin, and don’t settle into my expression lines at all (the Haus labs foundation is the only other foundation that doesn’t)

Haha last comment, but I keep making them as the video goes along, but Chanel lip products are my absolute favourite! My favourite nudes are Chanel Illusion and Chanel Destination! I also love their Baumé essential , I have it in the limited edition rouge frais from last summer and it’s UNMATCHED in my collection! Really lovely complexion products too, but I wasn’t able to find a shade match in the water fresh tint unfortunately, light was too light flight medium was too pink and medium was too deep and orange on me

Hi Blair! Such great makeup 😊 for Chanel Waterfresh Tint I think light medium would better fit for you. I am shade b10 in Chanel and Light in Water fresh tint is even a bit lighter for my skin tone although I can make it work and wear it in winter mostly. Hope that helps you 😊

I tried the covergirl tint and didn’t like the texture of it very much. Also I would have needed 2 shades and that’s almost $45! At that point I was like I should’ve just tried the Chanel one. I do have the Chanel Les beiges water tint blush, and it is beautiful. The texture of it was way better than the covergirl. The pigment beads blended in sooo much better than the covergirl did. 🙂

My wishlist right now is so big 😂😩 and it’s full of blush!! I want to try the givency loose powder blush, I want another shade of the soft pop blush balm from MBM in perfect pink (I love barely blushing & rose crush 🥰), and sublime flush from hourglass. I love their blush formula, as I have the jellyfish & leopard palette from this past holiday release. Those are my main items. I also have so much hair care and body care. Now it’s just a matter of waiting for the Sephora sale or not 😬 I have the ND mini my dream quint in my cart, but I have the INAN and don’t think it’s necessary. But I still want it 😂

Congrats on your No-Spend January. As far as your wish list, for $70, I would want to make sure I have a shade match before buying the Prada foundation (although I have seen good reviews). Is Sephora going to get testers in store soon? (Do you have any friends that are shade doubles with you that you could ask?) As far as the concealer, I would skip the Kosas for now because you have already tried it (and its short shelf life). Maybe try the Fenty concealer. Skip that Dior eye palette. You already have all those shades. Spend your money on truly new products.

I’m on a low buy. Trying to do “2 out, 1 in” this year and so far, so good but it is hard at times. The Prada foundation, the Chanel water fresh tint or complexion touch and the Chanel water fresh blush in warm pink are on my wish list. The Hourglass lip liner in expose 1 and the Charlotte lip liner in icon baby are on my list too so I’ll be curious to see what you think about the shades. I got the Chanel winter blush in the Corail Givre color and it was way too glittery for me…I was so disappointed. Have fun with your mom!💕

I was skeptical about the Prada foundation, but it is beautiful and it wears so well. I watched TikTok to see people applying the different shades. I have no regrets purchasing it. I didn’t like the Laura Mercier (shades or formula) and I don’t want the Kosas. I am interested in the Makeup Forever Aqua Glow, but will wait for reviews and to see in store because I never have a good shade match in MUFE foundations. I didn’t like the Fenty or LM concealers, but I’m picky. I looked at the new shades of Kosas concealer and in my shade range they were still yellow so I passed. Maybe you would like the Yensa bc concealer since you like the bc foundation. I like it. I like the Iris and Romeo too. The Derol Art Galleries Foundation Mixer (Amazon) is much thinner than LA Girl. Love the new Haus Labs, did not like the Summer Fridays. The Hourglass lip liner is a regret, nothing special at all. I want the Chanel Water Fresh and Complexion Touch foundations, definitely on my list. I like Chanel blush, but I bought Beige Et Corail from the fall collection and it’s not the same. I don’t like it. I did not like the Covergirl foundation. I am using it though mixing it in with my sunscreen. I’m not on a low buy, but I’m trying to be more conscious of my purchasing. Love this video concept! You would definitely not be light in the channel water fresh tint. I have it and it’s a bit too light for me, and I’m about a shade lighter than you in most base products. I ended up buying medium and mixing the two, lol. I’m guessing you’re light medium (but don’t know for sure since I never got that shade). I tried the Chanel eyeshadow, one of the really light color stories, and it didn’t perform well for me at all. Didn’t pick up well with a brush and was almost light hard pan…but they might not be all that way.

I love your videos Blair! This is a silly comment but it looks like you need to trim your candle wick before lighting it. It was really smoking a lot during your video which is a sign that the wick is too long. I think it’s supposed to be trimmed to 1/4” to burn cleanly. 😊

I would say med light for u for the Chanel water tint , i use Medium love it i think u would love the Sub concealer too but i think that is Chanel site only. I love the Tesse formula and Clair obsure . Tesse ravoli is my favorite love the new Eclat De Nuit too!!! They are getting rid of the quads and redoing them so get it quick . I am also thinking about the winter blush but idk which color i really want , wish their was a more neutral one. I want to try the Le Beige glow foundation the balm in essence ( idk martina mentioned the color) i think its called and the lipstick in beige catour and the balm lipstick in boy . The Chanel is way less coverage then the Jane its light light coverage and bluring the rose inc isnt as good at all. I am curious with the CoverGirl but idk about 25$ the Chanel is like 70$ unless u buy the mini for 42$

Ughg I want the sublimage concealer, but idk if it’s worth the money! Although I’ve never seen anything negative about it. I heard that about the quads getting reformulated!

@@simplyblair That concealer will last u forever, it's expensive the packaging is a pain but it's good u only need the smallest amount. I took a mini sample eye cream container and depoted alittle so I didn't have to bring the jar out all the time and expose it to air and what not . I have not even made a dent in that tiny container I put alittle bit in ..lol I definitely think u should try tesse Ravoli if any quad it's really nice it was my first Chanel quad I bought .

If you have a CVS, they constantly send out 30-35% off coupons, plus you can stack that with the covergirl coupons. I paid $15, but some ppl got it for like $8! Make sure to get light medium and not light if you do try it. It runs really light. It's worth the $15 I paid, but it's not revolutionary. I just don't reach for my drugstore makeup, it's boring to me. I'd rather have the Chanel and be excited about it 😂. From your video thoughts, I'm thinking you definitely seem more excited to try the Chanel!

I bought the Prada and am disappointed. Not much coverage and streaky. Much prefer Estée Lauder skin tint which I think blends much better.

I did not like the LM foundation. I have combo skin & it didn't set down & stays tacky. Even when I powdered it didn't last well. Still felt tacky. Kosas concealer waste of money for me. I don't use enough & it goes off.

I agree on the Kosas concealer. I really didn't like it and felt like I wasted my money. I did use it up though but it took me a while because I didn't want to apply it on a daily basis. It was really clogging my pores at that time, which had never happened with any other concealer or foundation. : /
