Nice to see someone else who is actually using the right amount of sunscreen! So many people on here show themselves applying all their skincare and are not shy with moisturiser etc but they use not even a quarter of the sunscreen they need to! Probably because it takes time to sink into the skin but if you’re filming it is simple to just do something for 20 minutes while it sinks in and then carry on. The joys of filming, it’s literally seconds for the viewer!

My sideburns do the same so i just straighten them a little bit to make them manageable and rock them like that lol but i dont slick my hair back it looks terrible on me

OMG! I love that Gucci bronzer, I’m a soft summer (which I suspect you might be as well). It’s the best for a bronze with a pink undertone! Orange 🍊 does NOT work on me!

Also, Blair -- I want to recommend the R.E.M. blushes. They are tied as my favorite of the year with the Kosas blushes. They are extraordinarily smooth and without any shimmer, but never look dry or dusty. And only $20. I have purchased 4 shades! Really, I'm surprised that they are not more widely promoted, especially by the mature crowd. I apply them with the Profusion pro powder brush with the wispy fluffy head (PD2 -- my favorite blush brush)!

I typically wear 240, but in the softlit it really does pull orange. 240 in soft mat is an excellent shade match. Even promo photos the models are way darker for each shade.

I agree! I’m so fed up with this “neutral” that brands make! Here in the UK we can’t even return cosmetics at all. So I have bought so many foundations and concealers because they just can’t make a proper neutral undertone! Sometimes if the reviews say they come up yellow I have even bought a warm and a cool shade to try and balance it. But I usually like to buy a lighter shade and a deeper shade of foundation and concealer because I can mix them from summertime to winter depending on how light or dark I am. o i don’t want to have to buy 4+ shades just to get it right!! Mixing pigments have come a long way over the years thank goodness! When I started out as a mua well over 20 years ago it wasn’t really a thing and shades were far worse back then!

The colour correctors from LA.colour are a must have. I accidentally ordered the wrong shade in my MUFE foundation and where I live you can’t return makeup. The blue corrector makes it possible for me to use the foundation anyway. 💕

Also I just ordered a *signed* copy looks in pretty good shape hard cover autobiography of Douglas Fairbanks Jr 😋 and just had to tell someone (I'm a hermit) -- look him up, he's the original Hollywood heart throb, broke the mold after him, etc etc..!! 😊 ❤️😁 Anyhoo you should try NARS powder bronzer it's talc free and no smell!! 🥰
