Crochet Toddler Hat | SC 2tog

Welcome to my channel!
I love this hat pattern, super simple and fast! You can make any size, as it is easy to adjust! My one is toddler size 1-3 years old.
Measures approximately 6.5 inches by 17 inches (from top to ear flat is 9 inches)
I have used simply chunky yarn, 100% acrylic and 6 mm hook

I love this pattern!! I especially love that you make the first two rows like I do. I'm 82 years old and have never been able to join just a chain successfully so I always do it this way.The problem I have is I crochet loose so I used an I (5.5mm) hook and Bernat softee chunky which is a 5 weight, and the chain ended up being 20 inches. I removed enough chains to make it 16 inches then did that first row of sc and it still was 18 inches. I did leave it at that though so I hope it fits my 14 month old granddaughter who lives 1500 miles from me so I can't try it on her
